Let's see, I think they nerfed it by now, but who knows, I haven't played much of lulz in the last few months.
Mordekaiser, Garen, Warwick, Xin Zhao, and Ashe. Not the only bruiser set up, some had more CC, some had less, this is just what my sleep deprived brain came up with on short notice.
nah thats about right just switch our garren for trynd and youve got my most hated team......

Just did a like for like simulation, 4 urban cohort vs 4 armoured hoplites
When both fully upgraded the romans made mincemeat of the hoplites, obviously i have got too used to playing my uni roommate who never upgrades his units as much as me.

Using urban cohort is definitely a cheap tactic.

BloodDK/Feral/Healer in 3vs3 Arena in WoW

Or even worse, BloodDK/Healer in 2vs2, since the general idea is to control the healer while to buy time to kill the damage dealer. Guess what? BloodDK's are tank specs, you can't kill them like you would a normal damage dealer so you gotta go for a healer. Guess what? The game's not designed for killing healers with one player. :(

Anyone running this setup? Please, kill yourself.

Everyone has been saying CoDMW2 and honestly i agree completely. That game has so many broken combos. The knifing(spelt wrong? lol) was absurd, the 1 shot burst guns, the invisible smg(s), the noob toobs with danger close.
Yet the thing that really got me to quit was the never ending akimbo shotguns. nothings worse then shooting a guy in the back 5 times with an assault rifle then having him whip around and 1 shot you across the map with shotguns. Screw that game lol

Also the countless imbalanced characters on dota type games. Very frustrating.

Biggest bullshit class in MW2: One Man Army/Danger Close/anything with the noobtube.
Most common/annoying class in BO: Ghost/Sleight of Hand/Second Chance with Silenced Famas/motion sensor. Camp away, assholes!

These are why people hate Call of Duty
I despise anyone who uses the Famas. I refuse to use that gun. No gun should fire as fast as that gun does, and for that reason it is bullshit.

I don't find Second Chance to be as game breaking as everyone says it is. Is it still stupid? Hell yes. But I usually don't have a big problem with it. And I use Sleight of Hand all the time, but that's because i'm OCD about reloading. Something inside me demands that I always have a full clip, even if I've just fired 1 shot.

I'm sure there's plenty that can be said to defended this as a tactic, but I can't stand abusive campers in FPS's. We all do it from time to time, usually to scope out an area before advancing. But I'm talking about people who stay in one spot and will not move until they are killed, usually just to return to the same spot. People who base their entire play-style around hiding in a corner. Again, I'm sure this can be defended on a tactical level, but it ruins the experience for everyone else.

I once heard it described as the gaming equivalent to hiding behind a corner and tripping people as they walk by, which I think is very accurate.

Camping and corner camping are different. Someone who locks down a street for you team from a second floor window with a sniper or LMG is alot different from the guy crouched behind the box in the dark corner waiting with an auto-shotgun.

The cheapest tactic i can think of would be the lets get an entire team of max level people and lobby hop to crush noobs. *cough* Red Dead/COD *cough*

Spawn camping in Black Ops is totally ridiculous. If you work as a team you can force people to spawn where you want them and then kill them when they move...

Someone mentioned the M16 3 round burst tactic which i started using when someone beat my team with 79 kills and 4 deaths. We watched the replay and everybody changed to his loadout. It takes skill to head shot from miles away but not with 3 round burst lol.

Sniping campers piss me off aswell. If everybody did it the game would be boring as hell. I make a point when im playing team games of persecuting campers till they quit. Campers in hardcore free for all matches aswell. You never win camping, you just don't lose...what is the point? Best tactics for getting rid is calling out their locations when you get kill cam view...

This thread is why COD is a bad game.

Hmmmmmm.... Now that I think about it, I don't really play any games with abusive mechanics. Closest thing I can think of are heavy control oriented decks in MTG, they are near impossible to beat if played well, and literally prevents you from doing anything in order to fight them. This wouldn't be so bad, but they tend to win on the 15th turn or something horribly late in the game.
Buyback counterspells are the devil, i know, because i use them lol.

Call of Duty perks:

Juggernaut
Last Stand
Matadon (I may be spelling this wrong; essentially drop a live grenade when you die).

All of these perks TOGETHER.

I'm glad that this is no longer possible.

In Leauge of Legends I think Warwick is pretty cheap, regens by farming creeps, and his 4th ability is pretty much an instant kill in any 1v1. This is probably why I use him so much. Ofc noob tubing in any cod game is pretty cheap.

Quick-scoping. The art of using a one-hit-kill sniper rifle, and running up to people, zooming in, shooting them, and getting a kill.

I used to be great at it, but I haven't played a FPS in over two years, so I don't really know. But I know it was ridiculously cheap, and wretchedly overpowered.
Please explain how using a single-shot weapon is overpowered compared to using an assault rifle or SMG at close range. The amount of skill it takes to quick scope is FAR higher than that required to spray with an AR or SMG. Please don't spout that "It's a glitch!" non-sense, because anyone who has done it knows there's nothing glitchy about it. You aim, take a shot, and often hit the guy. There's not even any aim assist while scoped in, so you can't use that as an excuse either.

There's a reason no one uses Snipers in competitive matches: sniping is really really bad, even in MW2 (the best sniping has been in a CoD game by far).
Oh, you're mistaking something. I don't play shitty shooters on shitty consoles, I only play shooters on my computer. Anything is possible when you have a lightning-fast mouse. The game I used to quick-scope was Combat Arms, which in itself is a bad game. I've never played ANY of the CoD games...Well, never owned an Xbox of any type. I've played Halo at a friends on a console, and I would lose every time. He challenged me to Halo: CE, and I won with 27-2.

Quickscoping takes time and skill to learn. It's indomitably powerful when you learn how to properly utilize it, and it's a great match rager. Plus, I don't get this one part. "Aim Assist"? So...Like, auto-targetting? Isn't that basically cheating...?

The cheapest kill is the accidental kill, because it cost nothing to a killer since they kill the person by accident.

What's a accidental kill, its a person who throws a grenade killing one person and then a few seconds later a car or explosive near your last kill explodes killing another person.

You want to know the cheapest tactic ever devised? http://www.advancedtautactica.com/academy/FoF.html

Here's the skinny. The Devilfish APC counted as a skimmer, a ground effect hovering vehicle. This meant that the vehicle could not be assaulted by melee. Coupled with movement restriction due to the positioning of the Devilfish, and the sheer firepower of the massed infantry, and a secondary issue regarding anti-tank grenades vs skimmers, made it all but impossible to defeat.

Edit: I forgot to mention the capability for pinning weapons to be deployed against any potential assaulting forces.

The soldier from tf2, they have the 2nd highest health and can simply spam missiles at corners/the ground while taking nearly no backlash themselves. I put my 6 year old cousin on this class and he got kills -_-"
He is slow, reload time is quite long and rockets are dodgeable.
Two of his new launchers almost double the missile speed to make up for that :D and reload isnt THAT long since you can just throw 1 in to finish them off and THEN fully reload

I never thought I'd get to link one, let alone two of my youtube videos on the escapist and have them be relevant! Both are the answers to the OP, and both are extremely disturbing...

I was knifed by a guy who was standing in the corridor behind you in that airport video, Where was I? I had jumped out the window and was halfway to the ground. It clipped him right through the wall and floor.

Another time on MW2 I was watching my friend play, and he was crouched at the top of a stairway in a warehouse (I'm pretty sure the map was derailed). A guy ran at him and he sprayed his sub-machine gun at him. The guy teleported through the bullets, across the bit of ground between him and the stairway, up the full flight of stairs and into the player knifing him instantaneously. He just looked at me, his mouth wide open in complete disbelief and shock.

I wish we had taped those two kills, they were atrocious.
