There are a few games I can think of
Dead Space
Red Faction
and probably saints row 2 (knowing how silly the game is)

They are much rarer now though which is a shame, they ued to make games so much fun
Wait... Dead Space has cheats?
For what platform? I didn't know there were cheats for it.
For all formats I think, here's a link. You can still get the achievements too

Try them, I found it a lot of fun playing through with cheats too

I cant say I am not happy about cheat codes fading away. it made me sick to see my little brother blow his paycheck on new release only to look up the cheat codes after 10 min of playing. seemed like a waste to me.

But some end of the game codes were fun (like the disco mode on Turok 1, seeing Raptors disco dancing is pretty funny) but I guess you cant have one without the other.

You're right. Cheat codes are fading away. Which is both good and bad I guess. But it's always nice to have it if you're stuck somewhere :p
Hardly.
Most cheats other than BBABALRLRSTART are just cosmetic and won't help you if you're actually stuck.
Which is why you should always have a handy codebreaker at your disposal.
In the last 4 years I probably wouldn't have beaten more than one or two games without it because 99% of all games these days definitely hit a spot where gameplay becomes annoying as all the little flaws pile up in one boss battle/stage.

Well I was reading an article on this very same topic not too long ago so, my friends you are all in luck. The developers are(usually) making achievements and other unlockable stuff now instead of cheat codes. They said that cheat codes are declining because they make the game go by to fast if one chooses to use them and it decreases the value of the game. Basically, what's the point of developing a good, challenging, rewarding game if someone is just going to use cheat codes and skip it or blow over it too fast to notice.

Cheat code aren't going away they're just being put closer to the developer console. Which is something you can't access in most Xbox, PS3, Wii games ect.
