Judge Gabranth from FFXII. After a while, I just wanted to get to the Gabranth fight, all in the hopes that maybe Gabranth would gut whiny, angsty Vaan, and the story could continue with a better main character (Balthier or Basch, specifically).
But they're so fun to kill...Combined said:Metrocops, just because they're human or semi-human policemen and it's their job to beat people and protect peace, which the combine have achieved, along with a better planet.
Combine are just awesome.
I lost all respect for Light after Ray Penler died. After that, I knew Light wasn't going to be redeemed.Inverse Skies said:Too true, although I still wanted Near to win, and lost all respect for Light with how he acted at the very endgigastrike said:Depends on who you consider the villain in Death Note.
They do, When your approaching the mining facility a Dragoon sniper shoots the head off one of the guys hiding behind the truck.Metalchair said:i often found myself hoping chinese snipers would shoot the heads off one of the americans during operation anchorage
He was still incredibly intelligent and methodical right until the end... and then he blew it. It was only then when I didn't like him as a character anymore, but reading through it a second time you emphasise with him once againPirateKing said:I lost all respect for Light after Ray Penler died. yea i forgot to add that the second time that happens (at the start of the trenches) i sat and waited about ten seconds for the guy peeking over the top of the trench to get one to the dome, when it happened i cheeredhippo24 said:They do, When your approaching the mining facility a Dragoon sniper shoots the head off one of the guys hiding behind the truck.Metalchair said:i often found myself hoping chinese snipers would shoot the heads off one of the americans during operation anchorage
They start talking about how they see "him" and how he can take "him" out
and then his head explodes.
Light did do some good for the world. I get what he's doing. I didn't like him as a person, but I liked him as a character. I was always rooting for L. Then I liked Mello. Then I was inevitably left rooting for Near and the other investigators.Inverse Skies said:He was still incredibly intelligent and methodical right until the end... and then he blew it. I always really liked Near. At the start you weren't sure you to barrack for, but as the series progressed it became obvious who the real bad-guy was. After all, it doesn't matter how much good Light did, he was still the greatest mass-murderer in history. Great series that onePirateKing said:Light did do some good for the world. I remember something where a kid threatened other kids that he would put their names on the internet so Kira would kill them. I wonder what Light would've thought about that. Controlling the world with fear of death.
Come to think of it, I don't recall hearing any specifics for why the Empire is "evil" in the movies. My entire view on Star Wars has changed.TheMatt said:Was the Empire really so bad? Social order, intense organization, neato geometric ships. Did you know Emperor Palpatine was a huge supporter of the arts?
stupid rebels.
Light was the greatest mass murderer in the sense that he killed people by himself. But he didn't write down millions of names. That alone makes him less than the Nazi's. Individually he was the greatest. That just came to mind the other day.Inverse Skies said:PirateKing said:Light did do some good for the world. I get what he's doing.
