The police, in general, in GTAIV. Bellic is a swine!

And, I was rooting for the Locust to just sort Dom out in Gears 2. He really is annoying.

Here's one: Big daddies. What did they ever do to you? Nothing! In fact they were extremly useful when fighting splicers cause you could just hypnotize them! I never wanted to kill them, but they stood in my way and that means that they had to die.

I haven't played Mirror's Edge yet but from what I hear the government you're rebelling against hasn't done anything particularly evil besides creating a peaceful, crime-free, efficient society living in a beautiful city and fighting people who rebel against them.
It's more like, the measures taken to achieve that level of sterile enviroment. Imagine "The Patriot Act" time 10. Freedom and being free are the themes of the game. That's really the only bad thing about the Government in that game-- to achieve the level of "peace" they have, everyone had to sacrafice their freedoms.

The game speaks to me in spades, since I work for a corperation that treads a very fine line to personal freedoms.

Anyway, I digress! :)

Kefka ala FF6 was a fantastic villian. I loved watching him manipulate and back stab his way through the game. I wouldn't say he was more interesting than the protagonists, but definately a villian I rooted for. :)

President Eden wanted to save humanity, hell I agreed with president Eden entirely but theres no way to join him.
Aw, way to spoil it for me. :(

President Eden was going to reinstate baseball, create a future for the children, kill all the mutants, and deal with the viles of the wasteland. Why must the game make him the villian?! If anything, he's the good guy!! All he wants to do is kill the supermutants and ghouls...that makes him evil?! I kill ghouls and supermutants, and I get good karma, yet Eden gets to be the devil? WTF fallout 3?

But I digress...
If you'd have played Fallout 2 it would make more sense. In the eyes of the Enclave EVERYBODY is a mutant. With the exception of the Enclave and some vault dwellers (who the Enclave view as inferior and expendable). They were going to kill not just the Super-Mutants and Ghouls but also everybody in Rivet City, Megaton and anywhere else.

Andrew Ryan was Brilliant,Mental and downright Classy I wish I could have slung him over My shoulder and had him join Me.

The Smurfs needed to all DIE since a colony of Asexual Blue Creatures that sing like that should all be Killed

I used to worry all the way through Hannibal(The book) that he would bget caught but turns out he WON

Every time I watch the old Star Wars trilogy I root for Darth Vader, by the end he's not really a villain any more, but it works for me.

Basically any movie/game where the villain is more entertaining than the heroes.

Oh yeah.... Sauron in LOTR. You never know, his economic and social policies might have been very good. Just because he lived in Mordor doesnt mean he would have trashed everywhere else as well.
