Chicago Blackhawks win the Stanley Cup!!!!

there were a lot of people hoping for the Bruins to win this one, but I have a bit of a grudge against them for Tim Thomas, so i'm kind of glad that they lost.
Anyways, some pundits were calling this one of the best finals in recent memory. Agree or disagree?

With so many technical issues they had on the satellite uplinks in this series, I constantly had to stick around for overtime, waiting for refeeds and whatnot. Funny how differently you see the entire event if you're working on the broadcast. And yeah, it's normal to have technical issues in this business (hardly a week goes by with things working smootly all the time), but it is frustrating when you're on the receieving end, but the local viewers end up blaming you for the issues that originated across the Atlantic ^^

That said, bloody Chicago, they were just about out against Detroit already...I had hoped for an LA repeat of the title...that'd have been awesome.

But hey, having had the last 4 champions in the conference finals, anything could happen.

Don't know what Tim Thomas has to do with the Bruins now....his ass got shipped to Long Island.

Anyhow, Chicago deserved it. I'm a Bruins fan, but I can stomach the Hawks unlike some other teams.
