Child in Silent Hill? A Silent Hill disscusion

I think one of the best theories about Silent Hill is that all of the "monsters" that you see and attack are actually fellow humans trapped in Silent Hill. It is the main character's distorted perception that sees them as monsters and the reason they attack you is that from their perspective you are the monster. So really when you take an enemy down you are essentially murdering a human being.

Laura is a real person, she doesn't see the monsters because there's nothing in her to produce them, as are Angela and Eddie, Angela definitely sees the monsters and alternate town, Eddie might but we don't really see much into his mind. Maria is a product of the town, the rest are all real.[/quote]

Angela always sees the town on fire and as far as I know Eddie thinks everything is mocking him

How do I know this? The game already exists.

Play Siren Blood Curse on the PS3 and you get to enjoy an especially horrifying session in a hospital taken straight out of Silent Hill as an eight year old girl (or about that). No attacks, no chances, just hide and PRAY they don't look in that closet this time past.

That is a good idea that would mix up the story and gameplay a bit, but some people may take offence to it.

Although personaly I think it is an interesting idea.

Silent Hill is a personal penance for the guilty. Children are innocent, which is why the little girl in Silent Hill 2 never saw any monsters. That means that, according to canon, you can not have a child see monsters in Silent Hill.

Anyone remember the little girl in Resident Evil 2?
You take control of her for a few moments to crawl in a air vent, run past some zombies and open a door. And she could very easily and quickly be killed in the blood splat fade to black. Never Ending story like danger even now a days would be to, child in peril for those with a weak hearts. And that is pretty much anyone sitting on a rating panel.
