"I apologise; I let my anger get the best of me. Gods, you do look like your father..."
"It's fine," Andrew said, and forced himself to stand up. He was still not feeling good at all, but his mind was working at least. "You were just worried." Andrew was being honest about it, although he was saying it begrudgingly, and with a professional tone.
Still, he didn't realize I looked like Apollo before now?
Andrew was pretty sure this was the first time he had actually been required to say that he was the son of Apollo for anyone to realize. Well, any of the Greeks, at least. Honestly, he had barely looked at Apollo personally. Yes, they were similar, there were traits that they shared, but this much?
Is that why mom said I was so much like him?
He didn't know.
"I'll fix us a meal, and then you can all rest here. I'll see if I can't find you some proper weapons in the morning!"
I suppose that's good news. And I am hungry, seems I was correct in that my powers somehow uses energy like that, and not some storage of magic.
Or perhaps both? He wasn't sure how to define it, and he definitely wasn't sure of how it worked, but he did know that he needed to eat something. A bowl of fruits wouldn't really cut it this time.
I think my appetite has increased as well.
Only natural, he supposed. Besides, thinking about this stuff only made him more hungry. He laid down on the bed, face first, intending to just rest for a few moments, listening to what Nike had to say.
"My attacker? No, Apollo's a good shot, but not that good. His twin, cursed Artemis. And the Snakes!"
Part of him almost felt offended that she said that, although Andrew didn't know why. At least this made it possible that Apollo wouldn't show up, Andrew had no intention of ever meeting him again. Besides, the venom being from snakes made sense, well, partly anyways. He didn't comment on that, he didn't feel like talking to, or even facing Nike. Her reaction to him before, as well his powers getting drained, had startled him, somewhat, and even though he wasn't aware of it himself, it'd shocked him enough to make him actively avoid getting involved with her. Even when she asked all of them some questions, he kept quiet, only thinking.
"I am hungry, very hungry. Have you eaten? Will you be eating here as well? How long are you all staying?"
For someone who just were in such a bad condition, you're energetic. I suppose that's Nicole's boost.
Still, he had actually healed her. From that condition, all he had done was to touch her, and think a little. Yet, he felt a bit odd. Different. He really hadn't liked that feeling of not being in control. Almost hesitant to heal someone again. Of course, he couldn't be, it was ridiculous.
I'm a doctor.
That was all he needed to tell himself to restore his own confidence. For now, at least.
Andrew rested a little, almost falling asleep, when they were told it was time for food. He got up, and walked into the kitchen, before sitting down in what seemed to be as far away from certain people as possible. The food smelled good, and while he hadn't had much of the kind, he could see it was Mediterranean food.
