I mean, it could be a matter of failure in the private sector, because psychiatry isn't profitable. All governments are constantly struggling to determine what their responsibilities to society are. Of course, the CCP is a particularly shitty government, but this particular problem isn't unique.

Are you trying to say that the CCP leaves the issue of the health of its citizens to the sole responsibility of the private sector?

Not at all, and they've been raising healthcare spending over time, but in general, they leave a lot to the private sector.

In any case, you'll find problems of this level in every country, just in different things. If you're so eager to hate on China, just concentrate on the real problems, like omnipresent government corruption and the epic gap between the rich and the poor.

Again, I don't hate China, I just have a problem with things like their human rights violations and things like how they treat animals(see:farming for bear bile).

According to the paper, witnesses said the 32-year-old father was walking with his naked son and 4-year-old daughter on the street Thursday when he commanded the boy to bite his penis.
When the boy refused, the man attacked him.
Horrified passersby subdued the man, forced him to spit out his son's penis, and called the police, China Buzz reports.
The boy's reattachment surgery was successful, but it is too early to tell whether he will have normal use of the appendage. The Shanghai Daily reports that relatives will care for the boy's sister.

Really, what the hell? That's both sickening and more than a little perplexing...
