What's your favourite brand? How do you like it? Plain or with trimmings? On its own or in a dessert? Do you go for the high-class Swiss and Belgian stuff, or are you happier just enjoying a simple Twix?

I don't remember liking Chinese chocolate very much, but when I was in Hong Kong those chocolate-coated McVitie's biscuits were great. I got some strawberry-and-cream-flavoured Lindt truffles last year for a relative and they really loved them, so now I think it's become a bit of a tradition.

Does Cadbury still sell those packets of Black Forest mix where you live? You know, the chocolate balls with Turkish delight or other fillings? I ain't seen one in years.

Nope. I live in Sweden, but luckily there's a specialty story with British candy, soda and snacks close to where I live. But they don't have that particular candy.

Dark chocolate, as bitter as it can get without losing the sweetness - like 90% cocoa.
That's some good stuff. I feel that the darker your chocolate is, the more you're likely to be into chocolate specifically and not just sweets in general.

Ghirardelli and Lindt. Godiva for truffles. Dove if I have to feed my addiction in a convenience store or at a decent price. Seriously, Dove dark chocolate caramels are way better than their price point justifies (you can get a bag for about the cost of a single Godva truffle).

For drinks, a Ghirardelli shop's chocolate malt is something worth experiencing. Godiva trufflelata's are also packed with flavor. More down to earth, Coffee Bean&Tea Leaf's Pure Chocolate ice blended with extra chocolate powder is very good.

I'm not a huge fan of chocolate in general. But I don't mind the occasional Tim Tam with my morning coffee. Sucking a flat white through a Tim Tam is the closest to blow you can get without just buying blow.

Chocolate covered mocha beans or anything with the Lindt name. My favorite kind of chocolate is dark, semi-sweet. I'm not a huge fan of the 80%-90% cocoa gourmet chocolates but do use those to add chocolate to, well, anything, like how most would use baker's chocolate in recipes. Hershey's has a dark cocoa now. I didn't know that was a thing until I used it. I can only guess the beans are roasted for longer to make the cocoa more concentrated without tasting burnt. Reminds me, I gotta go by Walgreen's for some of those mocha chocolate Dove candies. I tried the new coffee nut M&M's. While utterly delicious, they are more sweet than chocolate should be and the sweet overpowers the mocha flavor.

Lindt all the way.

I like the 70% cocoa stuff. Although it's not as if I'll turn my nose up at the super sweet stuff.

Haven't had any in months though. Fucking diet. When I get off this thing I'm going to eat nothing but pizza, chocolate and donuts for a week.

I prefer chocolate in soft forms like ice cream, brownies, or chocolate shakes. Regular hard chocolate is okay but not something I usually go in for. I actually just straight up do NOT like Hershey's chocolate bars. They have a weird taste to them that I can't stand.

Seconded. Of course, I'm not gonna turn my nose up at regular old milk chocolate. White chocolate maybe.

Lindt truffles or Galaxy if you're talking about a plain block of chocolate.

Melted Galaxy is the fucking best, but melting it is such a pain in the arse.
Melted Galaxy on Rich Tea biscuits is the most amazing combination. You don't even know.

Milk chocolate is the best, followed by white chocolate. Dark chocolate is disgusting.

With milk and hazelnuts. Dark chocolate is a bit too bitter for me. As for brands. I eat a lot of milka bars, ussually with smarties or some other decadent thing through them. I did just found out I had to look at them to tell which brand they were. I just regocnise them as the purple ones.

I also like chocolate ice cream. It's the best kind of ice cream. Brownies, chocolate milk, chocolate fondant, chocolate on top of my ice cream, chocolate nougat. I think I like chocolate with most things, unless I didn't like the thing the chocolate goes with to begin with.

I'm from Belgium, so Belgian chocolate it is, partly because any other is pretty hard to find (because Belgium y'know, why would we need any other?).

I like many kinds, but my favorite is plain off-the-shelf Cote d'Or milk chocolate.

I like almost all kinds. From the Cadbury to the more expensive stuff. Being half-Swiss, it's kind of a given, especially since my late Grandmother loved to rack up a huge tab at the local Lindt, and was on a first-name basis acquaintance with the owner back in those days.

I like all from white up to about 70%. The only thing I *don't* like in chocolate are too much fruit, chili, and other weird stuff. Usually prefer it plain, by itself, just enjoy the texture or taste of it. I've been off it for awhile now, but I'm known to have bad addiction bouts and can easily finish off a whole bar on my own, in an embarrassingly short amount of time.

Short answer: Yes

Long answer: I love chocolate in all forms. I guess if I absolutely need to be picky, I prefer dark over milk and hollow Easter bunnies over solid, but I'll still eat a Hersey's bar provided there's no better alternative within easy grasp.

Recently, I tried spicy chocolate, that was really interesting.

Ehmm..wouldn't that put the weight right back on? :p Structurally changing eating habits usually work better as it's something you can actually maintain. No harm eating something you like in moderation. 'Moderation' being key here. :p

Same. Love all kinds of chocolate but I think regular Milka milk chocolate is still my favorite.
