Choose a band for the hardest Guitar Hero game

So, yonks back, I heard someone say that Guitar Hero Metallica had been called "the hardest Guitar Hero game to date". So now that the thought has crossed my mind, I ask you: If you had to choose a band to contradict this argument, what band would it be, and why?

Any genre of music is valid so long as it can be played by the Guitar Hero/Rock Band peripherals.

My choice? Dream Theater.

Only if you realize that playing guitar hero/rockband is only vaugely similar to the real thing.

By way of example, The metallica game might well be hard, but 80% of metallicas stuff is not hard to play.

I would say that The Dillinger Escape Plan would make for some interesting game playing.


I would say for Rock Band, not just Guitar Hero because everyone in that band is pretty intense.

I've always dreamed of Guitar Hero: Impossible edition, and I imagine that would feature a lot of Dragonforce, Judas Priest, and Ian Dorsch.
