I'm going to suggest the Medusa old-tech laser weapon on account of it's sheer badassery and the fact that I like Mortal Engines.

The fully upgraded Normandy 2 from Mass Effect 2 would be an amazing ship to have on your side during a war. Stealth capabilities, powerful cannons, and EDI would give you a huge advantage in any battle.

The normandy is only stealthy in space. Remember, "They could look out a window and see us coming!"

To wit: I'd take the Destiny's solar refuelling technology from Stargate Universe; who else has a ship with unlimited fuel that's fast enough to travel between galaxies? Also the "Worm-hole Weapon" from Farscape. Can't argue with a weapon that destroys entire galaxies.

I take the death star to present day, and force the people to stop fighting, or blow up the entire planet. Whatever feels the most fun at the moment.

Well,I have to be original,and all the best answers have been taken,so I'll go with the experimental Monkeylord spiderbot from Supreme Commander.
A giant 6 legged amphibious robot with 2 long range proton cannons,an anti-air missile battery,torpedo launchers,anti-torpedo system,radar stealth,powerful all detecting radar,and the star of the show,a massive maser that melts anything in it's path in mere seconds.

The sheer look of it would intimidate entire armies,and only repeated nuclears strikes would be able to bring it down,provided they could even target it.
