Isn't it better to simply call them from the country or it's bloodline that they came from? Getting religion mixed into ethnicity just seems confusing.

For example, what country did his mother come from? Was it Israel? Then he's part Israeli.
Otherwise it's like saying I'm half Wiccan and half Australian or something.
A nation isn't a religion.
