Chrono Trigger is one for me... I didn't really get into it at first, and stopped and started a few time, which meant I messed the story up, and for got bits! It was only a lot later in the game I realised how awesome it was! I wish I could just start again and play it anew!!

Final Fantasy IX aswell! I was so young when I played it the first time, I want to play it now I am older, but not remembering any of it!

The final one for me would be The Metal Gear Solid games! Especially the first one! I loved that game so much, and played it so much, I wish I could just start it again, with no prior knowledge of the mechanics or the story...!

I've seen a few people offer these two games up, but I'm honestly surprised more people haven't...seeing as how these games fit the question perfectly:

1: Portal.
2: Portal 2.

And my third that'll be just for the heck of it:

3:Final Fantasy Tactics (original for the original PS)...frickin' LOVED that game!

Hmm...I'd have to say:

1) BioShock
2) The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past
3) Chrono Trigger

Not particularly in that order, mind.

This is kind of difficult. My two favorite games ever are both huge on replay value (RE4 and Tales of Symphonia)...

I'd go with Alan Wake (most definitely), Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, and... Maybe one of the Condemned games? To get the horror aspect back a bit.

Suikoden 2 was the first game i really wanted to forget and play again and enjoy it as much as i did, actually got teary on the credits because it was over >.>

Morrowind, forgetting the end of the main quest would be enough, had so much fun messing around and completed the expansions but one day i had this dumb idea of going through the main questline and when it was over the world felt so empty i couldnt play anymore, created a fear of finishing open ended games main questlines lol.

Kingdom Hearts 2, never even realised the game existed, it had been many years since completing the first but from hearing the opening menu music i was entranced, i want that back : (

I'd erase all knowledge of kingdom hearts so I could finally play one without spoilers and then replay two.

I'd also do it for Oblivion.

To everybody that wanted to erase Portal 1 or Portal 2: there's actually a really active modding community for these games, that makes both full conversions and new maps. I recently made a thread [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.351254-Portal-1-2-Custom-maps] about them if you're curious. There's a lot of really great stuff that's been made.

On topic:
* Ghost Trick. Love the gameplay, love the story and twists, love how they intertwine so well. Makes me wish Shu Takumi would stop making Phoenix Wright games and focus on new ideas like this one. The only problem is that there's little replay value, besides seeing how much they foreshadowed and seeded a lot of the plot points.

* WoW. One of the best things about MMORPGs is slowly learning about everything in the game and exploring all they have to offer. I'm pretty jaded about WoW now. I recently got to experience something similar with SWTOR and was pretty happy.

* Resonance of Fate. A highly underrated JRPG, if you could even call it a JRPG. It came out the same day as FF13, had a pretty crappy tutorial that was too-easily skipped and a very unique combat system that punished you for not understanding it, and a story that was pretty hard to follow. That said, once you did get the hang of the combat system it was tons of fun, had one of the best weapon customization systems [http://media.giantbomb.com/uploads/0/717/1380962-custom_super.jpg] of any game I've ever played, and while the overarching plot was hard to follow, the game was divided into vignettes which were fun and easy to follow.

Gothic 1 and 2. Some of the best rpgs I've ever played and two games I have a massive history with. They practically got me into gaming.

Oh god. All the Resident Evil games (1-4 because they were fun, 5 because it was an abomination), Bioshock and Earthbound.

I've beaten Earthbound seriously around 15 times, but the first time was oh so magical. I remember getting it for my Middle school graduation, and I can only pray that the cartridge doesn't crap out on me from so much use :p

1. Portal 1
2. Portal 2

Both great games but very little replay value, and I want to have the fun of figuring out the puzzles again.

3. Batman Arkham City

It has some replay value with the challenge maps and new game plus mode. But I still want to play again from scratch as I enjoyed it so much.

Bioshock 2, Ocarina of Time, and Legend of Mana. So many fond memories and awesome moments in these games!

EDIT: RE4 gets an honorable mention. That game was so much fun (like zombie duck hunt!)

Persona 4
Fallout 3
Portal 2

I could just play them over and over again. (In fact, I already have.)

Seiken Densetsu 3 (played through about seven times), Baldur's Gate II (four times), and LA Noire (twice; it loses it's appeal after the first play through).
