Well, at least that's what the retail stores around here are saying. A lot of Christmas trees have been popping up in my area so I think that's reason enough to start thinking about the coming holidays! Let's get festive up in here! Cheer up everyone!

[HEADING=1]LET'S CELEBRATE!!!!![/HEADING]

So, what's on your Christmas wishlist?

I want my student loans to come through but if I wanted something material, it would probably be a fluid-head tripod or a speedbooster for my GH3.

Your turn!

Spread that Christmas Spirit! :3

My Christmas Wishlist is:

- Itunes Money
- Steam Money
- Super Smash Bros for WiiU
- Pokemon Omega Sapphire for 3DS

I may end up getting one of those 2 games early though.

Probably just a Wii U or PS4. Maybe Steam bucks? Honestly not sure if there's anything I want that will be out by Christmas that I won't already have by then.

I don't have wishlists. My relatives know what i like and they get what i like on christmas. And i don't really care anyway idea behind the present is most important to me.

Edit- okay i came up something. Either a real antique looking teaset or a 8gen console.

I'm still thinking about what I want for my birthday at the end of the month. :p However, I know I'd really like to get Kingdom Hearts 2.5 for Christmas. Of course I could easily buy it myself when it comes out, but seeing as I got the first Kingdom Hearts on a Christmas many years ago, it would be even more nostalgia-rific that way.

Other than that, I dunno. Maybe this guy? [http://www.amazon.ca/dp/B006WJ5GAC/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=2VZNK5K5K1GO&coliid=IXETM4XEIGVGY] I've had my eyes set on a 3DS for a long time, but I'd feel guilty asking for something so expensive, so a PS4 would be out of the question as well. I do love my video game statues, though again, a lot of them get quite pricey.

Horray... I gonna get a new gaming PC this christmas. And by christmas I meant January, because that was the earliest date I calculated was possible to gather up the money to get one... My salary is very bad indeed.

But hey, with the summer vacation on and classes off(live in Brazil, it's summer christmas) I should be able to find some time to go through my games\movies\series\podcast backlog and finally catch up.

I'm pretty much asking for money. I'm either adding money to the "Help Elfgore get a gaming desktop foundation"[footnote]Currently accepting donations by cash/card[/footnote]Or for a WiiU. I have some Pokemon titles I wish to play, Hyrule Warriors, The Wonderful 101, and the Xenoblades series. Other than that, nothing comes to mind.

Don't remind me, jeez, it feels like this year just flew by. I'm not sure I've got the spare change right now for any real christmas shopping either. Gah! I'm not ready for this yet.

Oh come on! Don't tell me Halloween is gonna be supplanted by Christmas again! It's barely even into October yet.
Is one whole month not enough you red and green tribute to materialism? /s

That said, what I want for Christmas is... Cliche to say the least. Just some goodwill, peace on earth and all that good stuff. Perhaps a temporary truce between all fighting nations like the World War 2 Christmas Truce.
Yea, Perhaps a football match between all warring nations.

But then again, I don't technically celebrate Christmas in the first place so I wasn't gonna be getting any presents in the first place.

...We're doing Christmas threads the first week in October now? Can't we wait until after Halloween to start counting our candy canes? ._.'

More seriously, I don't much care. I haven't really had a wishlist (well, outside of Steam) for some time now, and I've still got a birthday between now and Christmas anyways.

The winning lottery numbers for the closest drawing to the date when the list is valid... or something like that.. :/

Money works fine for me. Yeah, it's impersonal, but no one knows my tastes worth a damn, really.

Also, some christmas songs for the heck of it,

Well, I honestly don't want any consoles: I plan on waiting a generation or two later, probably just 1 generation for Nintendo because if they end up continuing their backwards compatibility trend, it's only going to go 1 console back. I would like a gaming desktop, but I want a guarantee that it will last a good long while in terms of running the newest games, like at least a couple generations.

Nonetheless, it wouldn't hurt to get the chance to play Hyrule Warriors and I want to try more games from Platinum since the only one I own from them is Madworld. I worry Platinum is put on a pedestal and they're not as good as their fanatics say. I'm positive I'd still like their games though; after all I liked Madworld well enough. First impressions just tell me they're not THAT good. I want to see for myself if I'm right about that.

In terms of games coming I can't get/run, Batman: Arkham Knight is at the top of that list[footnote]Yes, even with it delayed to mid-late 2015[/footnote]. A friend recently introduced me to some videos showcasing Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor and that is probably going on my list now. Honestly just look at my Steam wishlist [http://steamcommunity.com/id/jaassbri/wishlist/] to get an idea.

Other than that, I don't really care for presents. Chances are, if I get any of those, they will be things I purchased for myself rather than things that came from others. I just like spending time with friends and family and enjoying myself and appreciating things. Sure, I want stuff. I just don't want to be all demanding because, frankly, they're not priorities. Enjoying life and getting through college (and paying the debt it bestows before it gets out of control)? Those are my priorities and I guess those are what are really on my holiday wishlist.

People tend to feel uncomfortable giving money, yet I see nothing wrong with it. My sister has often suggested to my Mom to give her money when she visits for the holidays because she gets her things that don't help anything, clothes she can't wear or doesn't like or whatever. Plus, it's hard to suggest to my Mom I want games when she sees them in such a bad light. We need to get over that social stigma, at least with people who would prefer such gifts.

We can always make up for the impersonal attitude of such gifts with a meaningful celebration and appreciation of the people around us if you ask me. Cards and specific presents are overrated.

Come on, guys... it's not even Thanksgiving yet. It's not even Canadian Thanksgiving yet.

Anyways, come Christmas, I'll be in God-knows-where in Cambodia, so all I'll really want is an internet connection and a clean toilet.

(Good luck to getting either.)

At the moment, the one and only thing on my Christmas wish list is that no one even mentions Christmas until after November 27th.

I've been watching Christmas quietly push Thanksgiving to the side, and now Halloween is getting shoved aside by the ever-expanding girth of the Christmas season. You'd almost think the damn thing was the waistline of someone photographed for the "people of Wal mart" website.

The Christmas season has not started yet. It is not almost here. It will not start until after Thanksgiving and will not be "almost here" until halfway through December. /rant

Truth be told, I don't really want much of anything for Christmas this year. Not much I really need (other than money, and that's just a general given in today's world)

What the hell happened to Halloween?

I love Halloween! Why is Christmas poking its ass into my favorite holiday?! D:

But I will humor you Red because I'm that kind of girl. :p

Books. I'm a huge book worm, and so I want books. Also, lots and lots of money to pay off all those student loans that I'm sure that I will get eventually. And maybe I'm just getting old, but I just buy things I want and it's getting harder and harder to ask for stuff for Christmas. :/
