The only thing going through my head right now: "Kiss me or I crush you!" in a heavy German accent.

That looks fake. This may sound gay buuuuuut....The Goth Spikes don't go with the Japanese dress...
Chun-Li has always had those. It's been part of her character since her introduction in Street Fighter 2.
Guuhhh....

Well in that case then that shit is fucked up.

I think it's just a bad shot, there's now way that's going out on the truck on release day. Also, Chun-Li can never do wrong. Ever.

She must not have bought Psychonauts.

(yes, I know it's her thumb and not the index and middle finger)

That maybe true, but the dress is chinese and Chun Li in the SF universe is chinese.

"Hey John, I can't get this forced perspective hand right. Hold you hand out in front of my face and I'll draw it without looking."

This is the same Street Fighter 4 where all the male characters make extremely goofy faces. Chun-Li's hands don't really bother me, if anything I think it's part of the style.

Looks like she's been using that left analogue stick a bit too much to me. It could also be that the artist used his own hand as a reference and "didn't notice" it was mannish and weird.

I think this link speaks for itself. Discuss.
Actually, it doesn't. Next time, add some content of your own.
not to argue with an oh so grand admin, but wouldnt any content he could add essentially be reiterating what was said in the article?

@Thread : Ive never been a fan of capcom's art but I suppose that her hand wont drag her entire body down at all times as this picture would suggest.

EDIT: to save double posting saskwatch are you aware of one of the Rules that states "No matter what it is somebody's fetish"
I suppose it has something to do with "nuff said" + "discuss" ...

And it's a chinese dress. ;)

I try not to swear on forums, but all I can say is, who gives a flying f*$k?

It's a picture guys.

Next you'll be telling me Ryu shooting those fire balls is physically impossible too?

They need testers who will man-up and say:
"We just finished testing level 3 and you need to tighten up Chun Li's graphics a little bit."

I'd be complaining if Ryu shot his physically impossible fireballs out of his nose, which was so big it covered his mouth and squeezed his eyes out next to his ears, and even then only because of the nose.

Its an unrealistic video game, I can accept some crazy art direction in details. However, it is kinda a plus, in a way. She fights a lot, she keeps in perfect physical shape and has a lot of power, of course parts of her are more beefy then then is strictly ladylike. Congrats to Capcom for going in a direction that sacrificed some (Obviously not ALL) perfect woman stereotype for a I-Can-Crush-You-With-One-Hand look. Theres plenty of reasons why she would have well developed thumbs.(Though it is a strange thing to accentuate, I think the picture framing is partially to blame.)

Also, I really can't complain about her having huge legs. Anyone who does, I would like you to lift your leg off the ground, and kick in front of you. Instead of putting it down, do it again. And again. And again. I think you know the move im talking about here. How fast are you doing it, and how quickly does your leg tire out. Now think of Chun Li. Still blame her for having huge legs? I didn't think so.

Of course, ive always liked Chun Li for being pretty cute but also kinda scary are brutal, so maybe im biased.
