Well I'm currently playing A Mod of Ice and Fire, really good btw, basically I started off as Dorne and quickly took the Reach and Stormlands. The Tyrells were wiped out and Renly is squatting up in the Vale with one city.
Things were going well, until I met Daenerys, Edmure and Khal Drogo. Daenerys has tonnes of cities in Essos, as does Khal Drogo who seems to enjoy annexing every Free City I befriend (Essos is about 3x larger than Westeros, so that's the idea really. 2 civs had free reign over a mainly uninhabited fertile land while the other 8 squabbled over a much smaller landmass).
I quickly found that Edmure was to be my main rival on my continent, since he had 10 cities along with whatever ones he puppeted from his wars with Robb in the north.
Then Khal Drogo conquered Myr and Volantis, giving him access to the Narrow Sea. King Robert was right, if he crosses with a Dothraki hoarde at his side no one will be able to stop him.
I decided that to stop Drogo and win I'll need to take all of Westeros and then cross the Narrow Sea, my plans are still unclear as to how to deal with Daenerys but she doesn't seem to be an immediate threat right now so I'll leave it at that.
So my first target was Tywin. I gave him a chance by demanding his gold...... and he accepted........ so then I invaded anyway, razed is only other city to the ground and then marched on Casterly Rock. His navy was tough but I had about 5 trebuchets and wasn't about to build up a fleet or anything.
Tywin is down, with him and the Tyrells gone that's 5 more to go before taking on Drogo.
After him I headed for the riverlands. I burned 2 cities to a crisp and then captured Riverrun. Edmure relocated his capital to Harrenhal and offered me his 3rd largest city along with the peace treaty. I razed that one to the ground too.
Currently I've amassed about 30 units outside the crownlands and plan to wipe out Stannis, from there Renly will drop fairly easily and after that I'll try and wipe the Greyjoys off the map (they only have Pyke, but I only have 1 ship).
Also if anyone wants to add me my user's Josh13914, I can't get good matches online and it'd be nice to play someone on here.
