Here's some classics...

A detective finds a man hung to death in a locked room bare of furniture. There is water all over the floor. The detective immediately calls it a suicide. Why? edit: just realized this one has already been done, oh well

Two men wearing white shirts and blue pants are found dead in a cabin at the bottom of a cliff. How did they die?

Joe and Bob are found dead, lying in wet carpeting. How did they die?

A man is found lying next to a green crystal, dead. Though nothing ever touched him, how did he die?
3. They are fish and the tank broke

4. You killed superman

Here's a riddle I read earlier today, but for the life of me can't remember where... hoping it wasn't on this site. :)

One Sunday the police get a call from a woman claiming her husband had been killed in his study. A detective shows up at the mansion and interogates everyone present.

The wife claims she had been asleep and had awoken to find her husband dead.
The butler claims he had been in the dressing room, shining shoes.
The maid claims she had been busy outside walking down the driveway to get the mail.
The cook states he was in the kitchen, preparing a breakfast of pancakes.
The gardner swears he had been out in the greenhouse, picking fresh vegetables.

After getting these statements, the detective immediately arrests the murderer. Who did the crime?

Here's one I don't think has been posted yet:

A blacksmith has 5 sections of an iron chain. One section has 3 links, two have 4 links, one has 5 links, and one has 6 links. He is tasked to connect the links into one long chain. It takes him 5 minutes to open a link, and 8 minutes to close it.

What is the fastest that the blacksmith can complete the chain?

Well, I looked at it for five minutes, and I think I got it. The maid, because mail doesn't run on Sundays?

That was fun.

EDIT: Oh damn, that explains the post above mine. I thought he was giving the answer to his own question. The answer must've came to me subliminally.

She photographed him, developed the shot, and hung it to dry. No death involved.

There's Buddha, kill him!

Yes, that is the full riddle. My 7th grade history teacher told us it and I was the first to figure it out!

How about this...

Hank is on the 31st floor of an office building, looking through a dirty window, and all of the sudden, overcome with depression, Hank slides open the window and jumps through it. It's a sheer drop from the 31st floor to the ground, yet Hank lands completely unharmed.
How?
