I got some more.

A farmer has 16 sheep, all but 9 die, how many are left?

You have 3 apples, you pick up one apple, how many apples do you have?

These ones are easier

1. No idea...
2. This is a paradox and cannot be solved.
3. It should read as follows: "This isn't really a puzzle, just random words. This could be too long to bother with."

Depends on how many fly away, but presumably none are left sitting there after the sadistic tendencies of the farmer are done with...

EDIT: Sorry for the double post...

None, cos the 18 left have flown down to peck his eyeballs out.

This thing all things devours
Birds, beasts, trees, flowers
gnaws iron, bites steel, grinds hard stone into meal
slays king, ruins town, and beats high mountain down.

A lock without hinges, key, or a lid, yet inside golden treasure is hid.

Two men marked for assassination walk into a bar, each order the same drink with ice. The first man drinks his drink quickly, and orders another. The second man drinks his drink slowly. The first man lives and the second man dies. How?

Edit: crap, mistyped first riddle

What is put on a table, cut, but never eaten?
Flowers, you cut the ends off to make them fit into a vase?
Not what the real answer is, but that would actually work. 0_o
Is it body in a morgue?
Nope, keep trying. Sorry if I double posted.
Pack of cards
Yep.
I could eat a pack of cards... It might make me ill, and maybe need more then one sitting, but I reckon I could eat a pack of cards.

Time.

Two men marked for assassination walk into a bar, each order the same drink with ice. The first man drinks his drink quickly, and orders another. The second man drinks his drink slowly. The first man lives and the second man dies. How?
They were already poisoned, the drink was the antidote.

Weathering?

Does welding count as a lock?

The ice has poison in it?

Time, although I'm aware I've been ninja'd.

A lock without hinges, key, or a lid, yet inside golden treasure is hid.
The mind. Or an egg. Either is valid (I've heard that one before and both were valid answers then...).

Two men marked for assassination walk into a bar, each order the same drink with ice. The first man drinks his drink quickly, and orders another. The second man drinks his drink slowly. The first man lives and the second man dies. How?
Poison in the ice. The first dude drinks quickly so the ice doesn't melt, and the poison isn't released. The second geezer lets the ice melt as he drinks and the poison is released, and so he dies.

agreed on water

A lock without hinges, key, or a lid, yet inside golden treasure is hid.
an egg
First riddle was Time. Egg is correct. Poisoned ice was the third. I apologize for the error in the first riddle ("king", not "kind")

I've got two:

I buy a can of Coca-Cola from a vending machine, it costs 60p, what is the least amount of coins I can use to buy the Coca-Cola? And what coins are they?

Add gramma to make this into a grammatically correct sentence:
I said that that that that that man said should have been underlined

OK, get your math hats out for this one:

As I was going to St Ives, I met a man withe seven wives, the seven wives had seven kids, the seven kids had seven sacks, the seven sacks held seven cats, the seven cats had seven kittens. How many were going to St. Ives?
