Cloning anything seems iffy in my opinion.

We shouldn't dabble to much (or at all) with genetics. It's a power that doesn't belong to us and of wich we have absolutly no real understanding.
Who does it belong to?

My cat...I love her.

Cloning is a technique that was used to create insulin not to long ago. Also tampering with genetics may save lives.

It's not all bad.

It belongs to the Intergalactic Lord Xanax. How the heck should I know? And that's my point; genetics is a force that is billions of years old. We didn't create it we just discoverd it. The only way scientists can deal with a certain technology is by controling it, but genetics is a power over wich we have no controle. Humanity has been on this earth for a couple of million years or so. And so, for us to try and controle a power that created all live on this 4,5 billion year old world would be a little bit arrogant. Then again, if I had Parkenson's or something, I'd probably be all for genetics and cloning.

I would clone my pet cat that was run over. I really miss her. But not family, maybe friends. Get a couple of them and yourself for all of those things like "I wonder what would happen if..."
