So me and a group of friends have decided in to play a bunch of co op games together because were all that lame. But long story short, were running out of co op games, and so I post here to see if anyone has any fun co op games to play for 2-4 people. The first person to post gets a cookie, and the first person to post halo 3 gets a boot to the head. Ciao.

Well, there's plenty coming and one really close.

You got "Left 4 Dead" which is four-players on purpose coming real soon. And also RE5 is a two person co-op for the entirety of the whole game online.

One of my favorite co-op games is "Tales of Symphonia"(GC/Wii) or "Tales of the Abyss"(PS2) if you are into the RPG thing. It's a really cool action RPG, the whole thing can be played with friends all controlling different characters within the combat sections (lots of them) and there's lots of hidden goodies for you all to find. Real fun game, one of the few JRPGs I like. One guy has to be the designated driver of sorts, just walking around and getting you to plot points and combat segments. But when combat happens, you all control your own character and its real cool.

GRAW2 was a personal favourite of mine, especially with all the extra co-op missions that are available

Gears of war is really fun Co-op. Might be a bit too straight forword if you're looking for a deeper experience with a friend.

Halo 3 If you don't mind an old game, brute force was classic. Might be able to find in in a sale bin somewhere. But if you want some newer releases Army of Two pops to mind, as does Rainbow six Vegas, one and two.

Unreal Tournament 3 if you crank the bots all the way up. 4 human players versus Insane bot difficulty = just right.

Like Kenny said, Brute Force is a great game. You should be able to find a used copy.

I could also recommend Baldurs Gate 2 or NWN if you can hook a couple of PCs together and are into the role playing games.

Try Resistance, Army of two or Guitar Hero 3(co-op) lol.
I think Diablo 2 had a co-op multiplayer aspect to it.
A favorite of mine is Star Wars Battlefront 1 and 2 because me and my bro always fought over who got to be the Jedi.

What I want to know is, aside from these posted, how are you finding any good co-op games? Last time my bro and I went to a game store to pick up something multiplayer and fun, almost nothing was. Even some of the co-op games that are out there aren't split screen. What the hell? I am about to hook up my NES, SNES, and N64 just so we can play some fun games in the same house. (btw. Golden Eye on a 42 inch tv is not as awesome as I thought it would be when it was new.)

some of my favorite 4 player co-op games are the xmen legends games. I believe there are 2 of them out there, and they are a blast with 4 people (xmen legends 2 was the best). I do agree with you though, I always go looking for co op games for me and the old lady, and there is nothing these days that doesn't involve either online multi only, or you have to system link a console for 2 people. Happy hunting sir!!

Rianbow 6 Vegas or Gears are both amazing coop games. I'd play either of those if you are a fan of shooters. Also, sports game always make for good coop experiences and there's nothing like some good competition.
