What's your favourite cocktail, and how do you like to make it?
I used to be a cocktail waiter and through this I have learned a fair few recipes and 'improved' upon some classics too.

My favourite is the Bloody Mary:
Start with the salt and pepper muddled at the bottom of the glass with the worcester sauce
Add ice
Two shots of Absolut Peppar vodka
One shot of rioja (nice and fruity)
Top up with tomato juice
Add A LOT of Tabasco sauce

If you like it really really spicy, try adding a touch of 100% Pain (it's amazing but brutal)

MOJITO!

- Mash several sprigs of mint and 2 lime quarters together in a highball glass

- Add 2 tea spoons of caster sugar

- Add 50ml of dark rum, only ever use dark as white is shite

- Top up with crushed ice

- Shake

- Top up with soda water or crushed ice

- Squeeze a couple of lime quarters and enjoy

I love Jager, IU did try something new the other day though, Jager and Chocolate milk... tasted real good but I wouldn't have more than 1 or 2.. Wouldn't want to curdle the ol' stomach

bloody ceasar - this is the canadian cousin to a bloody mary.


Rim glass first with Lime wedge and then with celery salt

1 1/2 oz. Vodka
6 oz. Mott's (Mott's)
1 stick Celery
1 dash Pepper, black
2 splashes Tabasco Sauce (add more if you like spicy)
2 splashes Worcestershire Sauce (add more if you like spicy)

there are lots of variations of this.

- 50ml Vodka
- 25ml Baileys
- 25ml Kahlua
- 25ml Amaretto

- Shake

- Serve in Martini glass and garnish with nutmeg

I love Gin Tonic.
4cl of Gin in a glas and fill it up with Tonic Water. That's all, quite easy.

Being drunk is great.

Gimme a good margarita any day of the week. On the rocks, lots of salt. But for simplicity, I go with rum and ginger ale. Either light or dark rum will do, but it's better with light.

Black Russian
~2 parts vodka
~1 part Kahlua

Add ~1/2 part milk for a White Russian, or use Amaretto instead of Kahlua for a Tawny Russian.
Add ~1 part Bailey's Irish Cream to a White Russian for a Mudslide; throw it and some ice in a blender and blend until smooth to get a Frozen Mudslide.

Modular/upgradable drinks are fun.

What's a schooner? I think i've heard the word before, is it an Aussie measurement of alcohol?
