I doubt Brazil will play that large a part.

Naw not brazil i dont think, the 4 horsemen except for 1 of them are all dead, so it might revolve around this last horseman
In the trailer of Modern Warfare 2, there is a picture of the statue of Jesus/God in Rio de Janiero, Brazil. Go to modernwarfare2.com to see the trailer.
There are lots of picatures in the trailer, theres a picature of a teaddy bear. Does that mean the game will also have a level inside a teaddy bear? I'm going to say no.
That exact teddy bear is in one of the apartments you go through during the flashback mission in chernobyl in Call of Duty 4's Single-Player.
*Goes back and plays flashback*
Oh, so it is!
*Knifes the teaddy bear*
Hehe...

Anyway that aside my point about there being lots of picatures still stands

Indeed it still does, I was merely adding to the discussion and it was not my intention to disprove your point.

I think that it will have something to do w/ an alien invasion of Brazil. Then we'll find out that the US gov is run by robots from the future and then we have to fight the robots and aliens in 2 separate campaigns that eventually meet at the end. Also you will become a cyborg-human-alien hybrid.

I will never understand why people want to post their made up stories for a game they can not effect in any way, and have little to no infomation about - in 9 / 10 cases their ideas are terrible...

Thier not dropping the Call of Duty name. It's actually called : Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Why do people get confused over that?

Do you think they would drop the name of a franchise that every Christmas comes in at #1, and by changing it they risk losing their brand association?

EDIT: Seems they are dropping the CoD tag. Ah well, now at least we can all forget about CoD 3, CoD 2: Big Red One, CoD: Finest Hour, and CoD: WaW, or as I like to call them the "Ugly ducklings"

Because you are curious if anyone else has the same train of thought.

Ok, I kinda guessed the tie in with the Mile High Club since the trailer featured an airport but where did the Brazil reference come from? Also, the 4 horsemen thing, that picture with Al-asad, Zakhaev, and Zakhaev's son with the red Xs on it and the 4th red X that we didn't recognise, I think we have "seen" the first horseman once. During the cutscene with the coup the driver of the car with Zakhaev's son was probally the first horseman. After all, the achievement for the first horseman is a man wearing a ski-mask and the driver of that car is wearing a ski-mask. ;)

I think that the new Modern Warfare game will have the same plot as the previous, but will play from the point of view of different characters. You play a junior advisor for the defence department. The action in the game will consist of meetings with heads of the military to get an understanding of what the troops need to resolve the conflict, in which case you will thrust into non-stop heartpounding cost-cutting decision make. You will relieve the military of unnecessary financial burdens (body armour, vehicle armour). DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES EXEC!?

The Brazil reference came from the trailer for Modern Warfare 2. In the trailer there is a statue of Jesus/God that is identical to the one in Rio de Janiero, Brazil. Go to modernwarfare2.com to see the trailer.

I'll check out the ski-mask thing, though

Hey yeah, what the F*** is with all these teddy bears in Call of Duty games? There was one in COD finest hour, COD2, COD3, I'll look for it in COD4 on Mile High Club, and if you're playing Nazi Zombies in COD5 you can get a teddy bear from the mystery box. Oh, on a personal note about that if you do get the bear, don't pick it up. It'll make the box disappear!

What are the odds of getting said bear? If I come across it then i'm definately picking it up to be a jackass.

Very, Very, Rare. I've only seen it once since i played Nazi Zombies. It could even more rare than the Ray gun or the flamethrower.

Semper Fi - Always Faithful.
A lot of people think that but that's abbreviated. Sempur fidelis means always faithful.

Anyway, I speculate that western military forces will engage in conflict with foreign psuedo-militaries.
