So, I've noticed a lot of Call of Duty hate on this site, and honestly, it baffles me. I don't know how you guys can hate a game that gives so much - enough in fact, to the point where I'm confident that I can say it's the best game ever, indisputably. It has an an amazing story, amazing single player, amazing co-op (zombies, DOA, online), amazing graphics, amazing replayability, amazing balance, and a million other amazing things going for it. It is bar none, the greatest game ever created - this point simply cannot be argued if we are being honest with ourselves. It is the single best deal in gaming EVER, giving you so much content for such a small price. In fact, I dare you to name ANY other game that gives you this much content for this price. And I know some of you are going to bring up the Orange Box, so I might as well shoot that down now. It's not a good deal if you get a boring, long, no action shooter with two bad expansion packs, a mediocre and SHORT puzzle game, and a crappy multiplayer game that NO ONE plays (at least on the xbox, the only console worth playing / owning, but that's an argument for later). Plus the snipers in TF2 are HORRID... so theres the issue of balance in a game that no one plays. Oh well.
So yeah, Black Ops - loving it with my 4.1 K/D ratio. Although I do wish they would put quickscoping back in... my one MINOR complaint. Still doens't knock it from the indisputable top. And I'm pretty sure most of you agree ^^

I agree, however the one I do NOT like about it, is the unbalancing of some of the weapons (I'm looking at you, AK74u) Other than that though, I am really enjoying it too.

I've maxed out my rank aswell, so I've begun playing with my friends with our own rules, such as crossbow only, pistols only, switch your gun with everyone you kill, etc.

I have another gripe, but it isn't something that ruins the game. The lack of zombies maps. In my opinion, both of the default maps are too big. It worked great on WaW with the map packs, because it kept the smaller one. But with these maps, when you get really far and die, I just simply can't be bothered to go through it all again. I want a map like Nacht der Untoten back :(

mass effect 2 is ten times call of duty.

It's story is worse than Mass Effect 1, and yet BO's story cant even stand in its shadow. The graphics of Mass Effect 2 are much better than CoD BO, look at cutscenes and interaction with other people. in BO they are still very cornery faces. Only thing ME2 lacks is multiplayer, but on ALL other fronts it beats BO's 4 hour campaign.

I still haven't played Black Ops, but I doubt it's going to be the best game ever when it can barely be played on a PC.

While my ability to translate trollish isnt what it used to be, it does sound vaguely familar.

You know as for the people who play CoD with reverence, you might see a degree of hate because prior installment X did Y better.

For the people who play shooters other than CoD... its because CoD isnt the game that they choose.

For the people who dont play shooters frequently, Its a matter that its overhyped.

For the people who hate shooters all together, it doesnt matter what the reason is, because they hate the style, or hate the people who love it that behave like no other game need exist.

Doesnt really matter why, because as its been said before, ANYTHING that is popular will be hated, you cant please everyone. So instead of spinning your wheels on trying to convince people that CoD-BO (Hrm, anyone else thing that sounds like someone who stinks of fish pits?) is the greatest thing since the second coming of Jebus shitting out loaves of sliced bread, go enjoy your favored game, cause the likelihood of swaying anyone's opinion is slim to nil.

Wait... What? Is this guy serious or is he just trolling... oh well.

OT: Personally, i found Tf2 on its own to be a better game for its cost (it may be cheap, but it doesn't mean its bad) The community, the mods, the updates, the events (the hats XD) and i enjoy it alot more than Black Op's. Black Op's is still a good game though, worth playing and very fun with friends (I really liked the wager matches and zombies), but I really don't think it is the "Best game ever"

and you would be wrong. He does have a different opinion than me but i will not fret him for it. That is his view on the game and he's allowed to have that. The part of his original statement that i interpreted as trolling was when he just bashed other games and assumed everyone just agreed with him and having much open to discussion. That is where i called him as a troll.

Multiplayer is balanced? Sorry I can't hear you over the AK-74u gunfire.

It's crazy overpowered, it kills at all ranges.

Believable until you ripped on the Orange Box too. That's the point where it becomes obvious you just want to enrage your typical Escapist. :p
