I think it's a waste of $15.

I loathed Crash and Overgrown - so paying $15 for 3 new maps isn't anywhere near the top of my list.

Besides, I have a family to feed!
[sub]Not really, I'm just really pinching pennies for God of War III.[/sub]

What happeds if you wont buy this pack? Will the system put you to games that doesnt play new maps or are you kicked out when ever new map is played? With dedicaded server we could have fixed this...
and 15$... WHAT THE F**

When the Variety map pack for COD4 was released they added a new playlist for games in those maps only. After a couple of months they removed the playlist and added the maps to the regular ones.

I bought the variety map pack as soon as it came out so I'm not sure how it handles the merging of the playlists - guessing it just won't choose a new map unless you have it, meaning anyone in the same lobby won't be able to play on a new map...or it'll just kick those who don't have the maps...perhaps sticking them in a lobby with others who don't have them.

~~

I used a voucher to buy some MS Points - so that if I get the new Stimulus pack it'll technically only have cost me 600 points rather than 1200. I'm still in two minds whether to actually get the maps, simply because I don't want to encourage the thinking that 1200 points for 3/5 maps is worthwhile.

They should be free considering we all already paid an extra £10/$15 for the game itself

The best community made maps are Always better than anything that the developers release. True there are a lot of bad ones as well but, being free, I don't think that is a problem. I will not pay money for something that a good modding community will do for free.

Also I don't have MW2 because I think it's just another over priced shooter that will last for a few months until the next one comes out. I will not pay money for games unless I think I'l still be playing them years from now.

This pack looks like incredibly poor value and if people buy it this is only going to get worse. Stuff like this should be free, or give the community the facilities to make their own maps.

Nope, not for 15 bucks, even seeing how this is my favorite game of all-time.
I think this is outrageous and I really don't like where Activision is going with the franchise.

Fucking Infinity Ward. Release the map editor and let talented people create their own maps. Fucking greedy bastards. No, there's no way I'm paying them anything ever again.
Pro tip: Infinity Ward is basically dead, Activision is in charge there now.

Why should I pay £10 for 3 shitty new maps when I could buy Battlefield 1943 or Portal for the same price? Hope you enjoy being ripped off.

Yeah, IW made some announcments that really pissed people off here. Plus they are part of Activision who also made and did stuff that really pissed people off here.

I think the maps look cool, but $15 is just too steep for me.
