COD Modern warfare 2 NEW MAP PACK

I topped up my points a few days ago so I've got my eye on it. I'll probably get it as I enjoy the game anyway.

15 for five maps is actually pretty fair. 3 new maps and 2 maps that people asked for that i heard are pretty good. I paid 5.99 or 6.99(can't remember) for 2 maps in killzone 2 and i heard the halo maps were about the same price so there's really nothing new as far as pricing. It'd be nice if they were 10$ and I'm sure they will be at some point, but it's really not as outrageous as people seem to think. bottom line for me is that it's a game that's fun as hell that I'll be playing a lot so it'll be a worthwhile investment.

Yet, just half a decade ago, we could just download player made maps, skins, mods, etc off fileplanet for only the cost of price to have internet. So I find it's extremely poor value.

I'll be getting them, 1200 moon points is far too expensive though. Fuck Activision.

One thing they need to do the game is stop rewarding noobs for being shit at it. Seriously, whichever prick thought of putting chopper gunners and ac130's in car packages needs shooting.

I'm debating on myself whether or not $15 dollars is worth five maps. I think Activision is becoming the new EA. Which sucks, because I really enjoy Call of Duty.

What makes you think it was a waste of money? Even if the multiplayer did leave much to be desired, that doesn't change the fact that the campaign mode has one of the best stories ever seen in a realistic FPS and the co-op mode was equally as entertaining. I have never seen so much griping over fifteen dollars. You call that overpriced? How about when you bought L4D2 for $50 and knew well beforehand that it was the same game with a few minor changes? Why was that acceptable when you can't even fork over $15 for new maps that you don't even know anything about yet?

Also, don't quote me on this, but I think there will be new weapons/attachments available as well.

Hope so and yeah ive heard that same rumour, would be cool to have a few new guns and get ridof 2 of the guns i got now, but like i said its a rumour at the moment


Well people gripped a shit-ton over L4D2 also when it was announced, but it actually turned out to be a huge improvement over the first one because the little improvements actually made a pretty big impact on the enjoyability of the game.
But with the MW2 maps, it's just 5 maps for $15, and while the maps do look fun, I didn't really see any possibility of some cool secret places/alternate routes like in Highrise or Karachi, so $15 is a little bit too much for me, maybe when they put it on a half-priced sale.
Also, I don't think its new weapons/attatchments, its new camo's for the guns.

I loathed Crash and Overgrown - so paying $15 for 3 maps isn't anywhere near the top of my list.

It's actually five.
Crash and Overgrown as well as three others.
Personally I'm looking forward to it, besides, if I don't buy it, I won't be able to play all of the game types anymore.

ive played realisitic shooters and more outhere shooters. i prefer the more out there ones. for "realism" i prefer airsoft "HINT HINT"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
