Correct. A rather large, fairly hefty chunk of metal traveling very fast = lots of damage. A .50 cal round does a LOT of damage, it's not the sort of thing you shrug off and walk away from.

And what is the native language of a "REAL Nazi"? If you think you're referring to German you'd get fined or jail time for being a "REAL Nazi" over there. And my German is good enough to apply proper punctuation anyway. Are apostrophes really that hard to use? Capitalising where required?

And back to COD4, nice to see that they finally sorted the easy muting. My gaming experience is much improved...

you know our not so beloved eastern neighbours?! its like a timemachine once you crossed the imaginary "wall". and before i get slapped around for that, most of them want that wall back as much as most of western germany.

and for clarification, im not a racist or nationalist. the "real nazi" phrase seemed fitting for a discussion on a mostly ww2-based franchise.

and i apologize for being unable to punctuate and flaming you that hard.
but i still think you tried to be funny a bit too hard. a little less joking and namecalling and it would be a pretty nice review, eventhough i cant relate to most of it, since im not a 360 gamer.
also, i dont get the rant on laggy servers, since (on pc anyway) there are nearly 15000 servers, about 500 with excellent pings.

@50cal. a brick thrown in your face could easily kill you too, that doesnt mean you can throw it at a speed >200mph as a 50cal cant travel @mach 3.

The lag issue isnt bad at all when you get on aussie servers. The down side is you have to put up with aussies yelling at people on the other team when they die. I really find a lot of aussie CoD-ers worse than american CoD-ers. Dont get me wrong there are good sides to both partys but the aussies tend to say the C word a lot more..

This Reveiw did seem like a way to throw hate at Americans. Ya see cod4 isn't the only game that has multiplayer and hence it isn't the only game that has people who piss you off. If you want to write a review for a game you should spend more time talking about the game instead of talking about online services. This is the way I percieved you review and opinion:

CoD4 online......americans suck.

if you want to make a serious review then stick to the game and maybe go into a little bit more detail if you want.

.dcp the lag rant is due to no dedicated servers for the 360 version (games hosted on random players machines) and the game choosing a server for you instead of providing a browser (this is my pet peeve with console multiplayer as I like to choose my maps).

Easiest way I found to mute is to plug in your headset and turn the volume all the way down, presuming you don't mind hearing no-one and not just the offender.

As for the Barratt, I'm not sure if this actually is part of the game but I find that if I hold my breath for half a second more and track the target before firing it kills in one shot.

From my experience on COD4, I haven't had much in terms of shit-talking surprisingly and I really expected a lot considering I play on Live. Most of the time, it's just dead silent and no one really uses the mic. The worst is hearing those mentioned 12-year-old boys but no harsh feelings were exchanged. I guess I should be considered "lucky."

I'm pretty much a close-mouthed bastard online when I'm not with my friends, but it's true, we Americans need to shut our traps sometimes.

I also agree partly with the weapon balancing. I found it so frustrating when I get my head blown off by an M16 wielder a mile away.
