I have mine a bit boring - medium-strength, white and with no sugar (I used to have loads of sugar in mine, but when I got my first filling when I was 9, I stopped having sugar in it except in the most rare of occasions). But if I need a big punch in the face, I have it strong, black and sweet. Unless it's strong, it really doesn't do much, I really frink it because otherwise I can get a headache.

I like my women like I like my coffee. Covered in bees. (Cookie for Reference!)
Eddie Izzard of course, my favourite comedian.

OT: I drink my coffee black, same with my tea.
Since you said he's your favourite, I'm giving you a step above cookies.

I stopped drinking coffee regularly at aged 7 when I had my first cup of tea, since then, I have had a grand total of 8 cups of coffee and now the smell of it is actually enough to turn my stomach.

I like my coffee without coffee in it.

Yeah, I don't drink the stuff. So, the only way I'm drinking something brown with caffiene in it is a Yoohoo cut with Mountain Dew. (Tried that once. It's not disgusting, but it's not really special either.)

Just in case anyone cares, I, Grimtuesday am done with my essay. It took 9 hours and 100 FlOz of coffee to get me here (It takes quite a bit of caffeine to get me totally wired as I am what some may call a big guy). However with all upsides the is always a downside, I'm crashing like like a catapulted man crashes into the cold hard wall of a castle, so... I'm going to go take a nap. I just thought some people might be curious how much coffee I drank.

Actually, I've never had it. My parents are Mormon, so it's impossible for me to get coffee around here. And I never think of trying it when I'm out, honestly. I'm sure I will at some point, at which point it better live up to the hype.

Depends, with a dark roast I ususally take a bit of milk and sugar. For a medium roast, I drink black, no sugar.

If you want rocket fuel type coffee, for allnighters etc get a french press, a coffee grinder, and some dark roast beans. Grind as many beans as you would normally to make coffee in the press but only add half as much water, and let it sit before consuming (10-15 min). Yes the coffee will taste like crap, but it will keep you wake for along time.

Black. Plain and simple. Can't stand instant coffee though. I buy this ethiopian brand from a local coffee shop and grind the beans myself when I feel like having a cup which makes sure the coffee stays fresh longer, giving a richer taste. I often end up having 8-10 cups a day, having my sixth at the moment and it's 3:27 pm.
You'll be fine. I wouldn't worry. I used to drink (no lie) about 10-12 pots a day. It was absurd. I'd have a couple of cups before work, fill a huge travel mug for the trip to work, use giant mug while making pot after pot at work, and go to a diner with friends after work. Now I stick to about 5 cups a day.
Wow. 10-12 pots? Guess you're right then, no need to worry. Also, going down to 5 cups from that insane amount is pretty impressive.

I don't know about that, Thaliur. A few years ago there was a occasion where I had downed (about) 4 servings of Turkish coffee almost back-to-back (it was that good). Little did I know that Turkish coffee has about the same caffeine content as a slightly above average serving of Italian espresso, which is to say, coffee-squared. I was on and off extended tours of toilets for a good part of that day...
Oooh, that's a problem I know, yes. Well, probably that's what they meant with "more than four cups don't have any benefit". You ARE awake, but can't get anything done because you spend the rest of the day between the toilet and the desk.

I did notice that I become slightly ADD-ish when I drink too much coffee a few days in a row. It gets better if I don't drink any on the weekend though, so it's not too bad.

I favor a caramel latte if I'm doing it for pleasure. If I'm trying to stay awake, then I take it black, as hot as I can stand and as strong as I can find.

Anyone else remember the short lived Coke + Coffee drink they had about 5 years ago? I had a few bottles of the stuff. It was vile but I kept buying it every time I saw it. I have no idea why as no one thought it was cool and I could barely choke the putrid stuff down.

Ok so here's the situation, I'm working on my final paper for my anthropology class (an essay about the culture both past and present of the Maori) and so I'm pulling an all nighter, thus, I'm drinking quite a bit of coffee as I've gotten 2 hours of sleep in the last 36 hours.

So how do you like your coffee? I like mine with a little bit of sugar and milk but still nice and bitter.

Note: I've drank over 80 fluid ounces of coffee in the last two hours... I'm going to crash so hard in a few hours.
1 450 mg of caffeine, I am impressed. Note: for an average male 350 mg / 4 hours is overdose.

My best is 3 000 mg in 4 hours. That was not smart as 5 000 can be fatal.

I drink it with a little milk to cool it down.

Also, nap for an hour if you can, you will do better work.

Coffee is the magical elixir of the gods that make mere mortals stay awake for inhuman periods of time.

I like my coffee with cream and sugar, but I recently found out actual eggnog is damn tasty in coffee.

The only reason is because I don't have a coffee maker at the moment, only a cappuccino machine. I figure for each latte I make, it's the equivalent to 1.5 cups of coffee. So between three and four of those, it's about five cups a day. If it wasn't such a process, I'd make more. However if I'm at a friends or relatives and they have coffee-a-brewin', I'll sink back into old habits.

At the peak of my coffee addiction, I decided to give it up cold turkey. Not a good idea. I would be at work and start hallucinating that people would come into my office and talk to me about certain projects and what not. I would then hallucinate that I was working on these made-up projects. It was so weird. I probably hallucinated about fours hours of work while actually staring at my computer screen for thirty minutes. After this happening three times in a day and a half, I decided to drink coffee again.
