I don't really pay any mind to my toothbrushes but let's face it, oral hygiene is important. Getting a good brush out of an average toothbrush actually takes a bit of time and consideration. Some people go for the whole shebang including dental floss and mouthwash to go with their standard brushing, some don't.

I'm like most people, I brush, I rinse with water and go to work. I normally spend close to two minutes brushing my teeth, and I often run the brush bristles between some of my teeth to get the plaque out. That was all about to change though... change for the better. I present to you: the Colgate 360 deep clean toothbrush.

It looks rather outlandish, and some of you may wonder how in the heck that brush even manages to clean your teeth, but read on and be amazed. Now you may notice there are small rubber bristles on this toothbrush. And don't ask me how they get my teeth so damn clean but they do. I've actually been able to cut down on my tooth cleaning time while not sacrificing a clean mouth. The tongue cleaner comes in rather handy too.

I used to poke between my teeth with toothbrush bristles to get a good clean out of them, but with this toothbrush I've always found the spaces between some of my teeth to be rather clean. (I don't have horribly disjointed teeth, it's just in a few spots near the gum line, I can fit some toothbrush bristles through to clean them up). I even have wires at the back of my teeth (they were put in place after I had my braces removed as an alternative to the retainer). I found this toothbrush was able to get all the plaque out from under the wires and it really does reach into the small crevasses. One thing I particularly love about this toothbrush is that the bristles on the sides are actually very effective at cleaning my gums. With other toothbrushes I've had to pass over my gums themselves, but when it came to the 360 the bristles got to my gums and provided them with a good cleaning as well.

This toothbrush really does set itself apart from others by providing your mouth with a cleaner brushing. Not only does it make getting a good mouth cleaning easier, but it improves the overall quality of your oral hygiene. It's an expensive toothbrush, but after having tried it out for myself I've found it to be very effective. I'd recommend this toothbrush to anyone. I don't know if I'll ever find myself going back to regular toothbrushes after trying this thing out.

Pros: It's a damn fine toothbrush. Does what it should, and does it well.
Cons: Can be somewhat pricey, depending on where you live it can go up to $5 CDN/American
Bottom Line: Sets itself apart from other toothbrushes. The high price might turn some people off, but I found that the price was justified considering how well this toothbrush performs.

Isn't there some kind of thing that you get for advertising?

Like, something bad?

An amusing read. Never have I thought someone can write so indepth about a tooth brush, can't wait to see what you'd do on mint flavored floss :p

I thought that the fact the tooth brush was named 360 and had 3 red rings was more irony than I could handle for one day.

A sneak preview of next weeks review: The exciting History of String!

A classic example of 19th century craftsmanship, the bunching or "balling" of string became widespread as a means of keeping lengthy pieces of string tidy and organised...

It's a pretty pricey toothbrush, it's something around 3-5 dollars American, maybe even more. My estimate is it'd be about 3-4 Euros, but don't take my word for it. Edited the OP to contain a bit of pricing info, but I'm not going down with specifics on that, the prices are different depending on where you go. I've seen some stores as low as $2.50, so yeah.

This toothbrush hurts for the first 2-weeks of use... beware. (Really good for the gums tho! :D)

All I know is that I'll never, ever, buy anything Colgate related thanks to Brooke Shields and a really stupid marketing team. Don't know what I mean? Watch Star Trek on YouTube sometime. Then you'll know my pain.

You may have beaten me to the brick, but I still get to mention the sandwich, carpeting and reviews reviews!

Coincidentally:

Were you trying to beat those reviews when writing this or did you really just want to review a toothbrush?

It is a good review though.

Is it an electronic toothbrush? Because I've been using motorized toothbrushes for about two years now, and I don't think I could go back to a regular one.
