Raziel chased after his foe. As he did so, he noticed that The Hunger was growing again.

What? How? I just... no... not me...

As if in answer, the Reaver unsheathed itself, adding its eerie rot-green glow to the already dismal scene. Seeing no other option at the moment, Raziel leapt at The Mordred, moving to impale it with the Reaver. Or was the Reaver driving Raziel to lunge at The Mordred? It was hard to tell.

"Vae Victus!" Raziel shouted.

Standing and quickly gathering up the cards, she eyed them up before placing them back in an almost well-rehearsed function for a proper game of Solitaire.
Sehnsucht then felt a catish grin play around her lips.
"My, my. It almost seems that you have a "bug up your ass" my dear Vermillion. What or whom has put you in a bad mood?"

Keeping his eyes on his prize, the Mordred was completely oblivious to any attack that might have followed his dash. Having no active defence to break through, Raziel succesfully landed and the Reaver was thrust right through his ribcage. Surprised, the Mordred stumbled, but was surprised as the weapon passed right through him. As he rolled, to keep his momentum, Raziel was left behind.

The being of spirit-and-body grabbed the book, wedged the crystal between the thick pages and used the sheath on his back to carry the staff. Tightening the makeshift straps, he spotted his zweihander, gleaming in the light of the Reaver. Muttering another curse, he took off from the battlefield, sprinting as fast he could.

He also shot a small prayer to his creator, hoping the mad fuck would help him in one way or another.

Oh hey is that a sun on the horizon?

Having his minions fix what had been destroyed, the Mad Angel seemed to hear something. "Hmmm, I do wonder if I should help him. Could be beneficial to me. Then again, he should work his way out of there on his own!" It laughed for a little while before opening a portal beside it inside its tower. It was a portal that only allowed those that the Mad Angel allowed through. Which at the moment was just the Mordred. "It should appear near him. Should, but might not. He'll see it."

It then noticed an uninvited guest in its tower. "Oh? And what business would that be? Because I don't remember inviting over a patch of mist, much less anything else." it said unamused by the sudden thing there.

"I just absolved a dead-man, and when I do that, I see all of their existence..." Vermilion said shaking his head slightly. "Plus... This whole pact... The invasion... It doesn't sit right... there's got to be some kind of trick." He then looked down for a second. "And the domain I went to? Apparently it's been destroyed." He said motioning out t a very hard to see mushroom cloud in the distance.

Sehnsucht's smile faded as she got up and offered him back the seat out of courtesy before clearing her throat.
"Take a moment, champion...rest yourself. It seems things...are getting very tense. I genuinely don't know what is going to happen. The more I think about it, the more worrisome things seem."
She pulled another chair to the table and took a seat again, her fingers slowly but dexterously moving the cards without looking up to him.
"...I could just have easily have been the same as the creator of that destroyed domain."
[sub]If only you had~ Then I could have had my body back and my own domain, stupid *****...~[/sub]
Sehnsucht gave a small pause before placing an ace below a two.
"Pact or no pact. Things are not that black and white. You know that. I know that. Whatever ploy that was, my guard is no lower. At best, they will come to us last."

Only marginally satisfied with its fractional meal, The Reaver allowed itself to be resheathed as Raziel chased after The Mordred, this time focusing on the staff. Raziel pounced from one spot to another as quickly as he could along the walls and ceiling of the corridor, getting ever closer to his prey. Then, at the right moment, Raziel kicked himself off of the ceiling and lunged at his target; his left hand moving to latch onto The Mordred's throat(1), and his right hand going for the staff.

(1) Or whatever passed for a throat..

"Would anybody in their right mind invite mist inside their home? It makes no marginal sense. Of course, neither does much of anything these days. I'm actually here on business, and you're just the person I'd like to talk to. I specialize in destruction. Is that something that interests you?" Said the wisp to the jester God of Havoc.

Azura retreated into the Magus halls deep within her domain and began studying an ancient tome labelled 'Magical Weapons and how to forge them' she rather enjoyed the weapon she found on page six-thousand-seven-hundred-thirty-nine, and as she read the enchantments she slowly began to assemble the ingredients, she would need time to complete the weapon, and one more vital item would be needed to forge it in it's entirety, but soon she would harness this blade. "My champion isn't very good... Looks like I will have to compensate." She then sent out a messenger card to Castle Osmo addressed to Asmodeus, and Priscilla. It read as follows.

Code:
Dear esteemed Friends,

I do hope you enjoyed the trick I managed in that domain. Fall is my favorite season you know~ but I digress... I just want to let you know that soon, very soon... Consequences will never be the same again.

Your dear Colleague, Iris Azura Istarias Legolia VonGrimm IX

"More than you can imagine." The Mad Angel said grinning. "However, mostly my own destruction or destruction I was the cause of. But I will lend you an ear." As it said that, an ear appeared in its hand. It handed it over to the wisp. "See? Lending you an ear." It gave a hearty laugh with its shrieky voice. That went on for a few minutes before it coughed to clear its throat. "Lets get down to it. What do you have in mind? And what's in it for me?"

The wisp made a motion with it's head like it was looking down at the ear. it was silent for a few seconds before letting it drop to the ground. Lifting it's head back up to the Mad Angel, it began to speak business. "I want you to just do your job. Go out and kill other creators. That's all i need. What you'll get in return is the joy of causing destruction, and more power. I'm not talking about the new things creators gain from other creators, i mean that when one creator dies, their power lingers. It spreads. When a creator dies, every creator gets a little stronger. Not enough to notice, but enough to make a difference over time. The more you kill, the stronger you'll get, not just through the other creator's resources, but through their very souls. Do we have a deal?"

The Mordred dashed into random directions, hoping to lose his pursuer.Seconds later he realised he was trying to lose his pursuer in his own structure. After lamenting on his immense genius for a while, he picked up the speed, hoping that he was at least faster than a pile of bones and muscles.

Then an iron grip took him by surprise. Losing his balance, The Mordred managed to plant another foot on the floor before vaulting in what would be a spectacular faceplant on the stones. Were it not that the Mad God's portal opened on the floor with spectacular comedic, one might even call it mad, timing. The Mordred vaulted through it while anything hanging on to him struck the surface of the portal like it were normal stone.

His momentum not changed, he was spat out from the surface of a cracked, dusty nomans land and landed hard on the surface. Waiting for one breath, the Mordred raised into a sitting position, whiping his messy hair out of his face. The flesh of his right arm dangled quite morbidly.

It seemed he was thrown out in some kind of no-mans land between domains. It seemed completely barren, with no growth or people to disturb the quiet surface.

Except the parade of puppets carrying a robot.

What.

"Oh? So... it wasn't a complete waste after all. Being grievously wounded while succeeding, certainly a productive afternoon... I guess we can try making the best of this when your people bring me back, then we can see about patching me up. Unless we get it right, I'm afraid the best I can do will be working as a talkative paperweight" she muttered in reply, laying her head back on the disgusting centipede she closed her eyes. The self-scan finished compiling all the damage taken from her previous encounter, and the findings were... comprehensive. Though there was some hope, what she salvaged seemed rather highly advanced, and it may not make her as she was but with luck it'll put her back in the action.

Priscilla heard something nearby that wasn't the now familiar scuttle of doll legs on dirt or some of her damaged limbs dragging in the dirt. Looking up she saw a figure standing nearby, a large individual, or maybe it was just her rather close to the ground perspective, but he seemed to be staring open mouthed at the scene. Slightly peeved she called him out on this.
"Hey, what the hell do are you staring at?" She barked at him, craning her neck to get a better view at this newcomer.

"Ah.." The Mordred started, once again showing his astounding brainpower. Truely, This man is one of the intellecutal beings on this plane. He looked at the book. The crystal was still jammed between the pages, and the staff, while not as secure as he'd have liked, was still in the sheath.

"Well, by the looks of it, I think a lady-robot leaking white shit being carried by a puppet centipede."

He approached the doll parade.

"Yeah. I'm certain of it. That's wha' I'm looking at."

Priscilla just fixed him with an unblinking stare. Wonerful... so I've been found by an idiot. Lets see if he's a dangerous idiot... she thought, as she managed to get a better look at the man nearing her.

"Well, Isn't that just astute of you? And here I'm laying and seeing a man with literally blazing eyes leaking a black miasma from his gimped up arm. So, now that we safely know what each other are, or at least what they look like, what brings you to this bustling place?" She asked, making a sweeping gesture with an arm that was no longer there, so she only rotated the stump left of it.

"Well, I'm flattered you noticed my eyes, miss." The Mordred said, once again looking at the centipede. He rolled his right sleeve down over his shredded arm, to stop the smoke from obscuring his face. Keeping pace with the centipede, he quickly noticed the absence of limbs and broken equipment on this girl. Not quite a robot then.

"I'm here because some prick stole stuff from my creator. 'im being a mad prick and what not, I booted the criminal to the face and took my most hurried of leaves."

He imitated the gesture the girl had made.

"And now I'm here in scenic fuck all, all lost and lonely and shit."

The part about a creator stuck with her. Sitting up a bit more she looked at what he was holding, a staff and a book. "Your creator... so I'd assume that makes you a champion as well. Small world isn't it" she said with a somewhat muffled laugh. She scowled and turned her head and spat out a small clump of congealed synthetic silver blood material. "Heh. Good thing I'm full of this stuff"
"So, tell me; who are you owned by? Certainly hope it wasn't that poor bastard who's corpse we're dragging along"

"Indeed we do. I could always do with more power. More power means more chaos making and destruction!" The Mad Angel laughed for a moment, then looked at the wisp with a grin. "Of course, I will have to be careful not to get destroyed myself. But I don't think any of them could compare to my power anyway, so I shouldn't need to worry." It chuckled madly. "Just a shame I seem to have to share that power source with the others, but so long as I can kill them as well, I will have more power for myself. The more I kill, the closer I will be to being the absolute ruler!" Now it laughed heartily and madly, and seemed to not be able to stop soon.

"Ugh. I thought being a Champion would make me all special and whatnot. You totally killed that dream for me." He said, letting his gaze wander to the pieces of the corpse of the creator. "And nah, I'm not owned by that fellow. Mine's a.."

His voice wandered off as he tried to summon the words to describe it.

"A mad angel with a thing for clowns."

For unknown reasons, at least to the Lancer, he was alive. But, without a body. He was just a soul, watching himself be recreated. He looked around, no one was there. His master wasn't watching over his reconstruction. Well fuck... He said to himself, And I'm stuck with this person...This is gonna be a fun...eternity.
