Rolls of duct tape. I have every pattern and color ever made, from neon orange, to plaid (yes, plaid) I think it's worthwhile, as in the event of an emergency, I'm pretty well stocked.
Exactly, I worked with some people two summers ago who went on and on about the Red Sox, spouting off all sorts of numbers and facts and figures, forever. If I so much as mentioned a game or scifi reference though, *I'm* the nerd. Everyone geeks out about something.XJ-0461 said:My view is either that everything is sad, or nothing is. To me, there's no difference between knowing the detailed history of a comic book character and knowing the names and positions of all the players on a sports team, other than social acceptance.
My own geeky/sad/pathetic collection is a number of superhero related items (comics/games/animated TV shows/toys) as well as Doctor Who stuff (same stuff). I love all of it.

What race? I collect 40k and fantasy I have not played due to lack of rules and people to play with. So my hobby would be warhammer Dark Elves, Dark Eldar, Sisters of Battle, and IG.Gaz6231 said:I'm a Warhammer 40k man myself, but I don't get half as much stick as usual because I only really collect to model and paint these days rather than play the game.
Personally I don't see why anyone should have to 'justify' a hobby, since it's just a pastime that gives you enjoyment.
