I may not like the game much but I'm still glad I grabbed the collector's edition of Kingdom Hearts 3DS.
I don't regret buying the legendary editions of Halo 3 and Reach but they just seem kind of useless to me at this point. The statues that came with were alright but they just take up space and the rest of the bundles just seem useless at this point.

I've never bothered since most games only take me 1-2 days to complete and then there is nothing left to do. I might be tempted with the fallout game of the year editions (for the DLC) but frankly the game is good enough without them
Regretted buying the FF13 Collectors Edition.

I missed out on a lot of preorders. I don't regret buying Max Payne 3, Borderlands 2, Call Of Duty: World at War, and Rage. I regret buying the Crysis 2 Limited Edition.
there aren't any that I regret buying. if i ever encounter one that i do regret it will be because the game was bad andthe special stuff you get with it wasn't worth it. If i could I would probably just get a collectors edition just for the stuff it comes with.

Shit game, shit packaging. The 3D plastic that wrapped the packaging was so tight that I had to fidget around the edge with scissors before I could even cut the fucking piece of shit open to get to the game. Almost like they didn't -want- me to open it.

Yeah ok, so I got the optional alien dude and the energy laser rifle. Still doesn't sweeten the cataclysmic fuckheap that is the ending.

Regretted not buying the Borderlands 2 Loot Chest, just couldn't justify the price at the time.
Glad I bought Starcraft 2 CE, other bits aside, the dog tag USB stick preloaded with SC/BW is simply fantastic.

I didn't regret buying Fallout 3 has the bobblehead and tin lunch box are great display pieces with lots of charm. Age of Mythology was great to with the soundtrack, giant poster, figure, pull outs, ACTUAL AND USUAL game guide and a collection novel of ancient Greek tales.
I regret not buying Batman: Arkham City as it wasn't that expensive where I looked and that statue look very stylish. Now it's gone up again.

I'm glad I bought the Red Alert 2 Collector's Edition, it had quite a few great features and I got mine before 9/11 so my box has the twin towers on it. They were "persuaded" after to remove them from the box art.
I kind of regret buying C&C 3 Kane edition, it was $10 above the regular price and the only features were that there are "only" 100,000 of them and it came with a special features DVD which is pretty much shit.
I'm kind of sad that I missed out on the Diablo III collector's edition, even though the game ended up being pretty bad the extras in the collector's edition were still pretty cool. I would have liked to have had that Diablo skull\head with USB Soulstone.
