I had about 30 hours a week before I dropped out of Applied Biosciences, with numerous 3-hour labs. It would have been okay if I'd liked the subject, but alas.. Should be different in my new course, though.

You Arts people seem to have it easy, as long as you're good at essays.
I actually love the labs the most, sure it's a lot of time, but I love the hands on. Getting to play with all the fancy equipment and doodads. I'm taking Medieval Art next semester after having taken Northern Renaissance Art. I actually like art history, and it's pretty easy even though I generally suck at writing papers. It took me days to write a cogent paper as simple as "Who is Hubert Van Eyck and where is his place in Northern Renaissance Art?"

My first semester sophomore year I had classes from 9:30 to 2:00 straight. No time for lunch or anything. My first class was alright, but the second class the professor lectured so much and so fast, that I was brain dead by the end of it. The average amount of notes was ten pages. Ah, that was hell.

I never really have an awesome schedule because I have to take 6 classes every semester because of my major. :/

My first semester I had an 8am class, and went from then until about 4 with an hour break between each class MWF. On Tuesday I had a class from 10-11, Calc from 12-1, then a lab from 1-3, which sucked, and on Thursday I chem recitation from 9-10, the civil engineering class from 10-11, then chem lab from 6-9 at night.

All in all, it was 8-4 MWF, 10-3 T and 9-9 R. It was horrible.

This coming semester, however, I have MWF completely off, and classes from 9:30-2 TR. Best schedule I've ever had, and I'm really looking forward to it since I can actually take advantage of the Thursday drink promotions at most of the bars around campus without worrying about waking up the next day for classes. Totally gettin' my drunk on.

The reason for the completely different schedule experiences is because I switched from an Aerospace Engineering major to a Creative Writing major a couple years ago. Failing calc three times made me re-think that first choice.

From the UK, so the system's a bit different, but generally my schedule's fairly good (for a science degree). There's about 10 hours of lectures a week, and around 6 of practicals. My best schedule was one week where there were 4 hours of lectures. Ended up playing minecraft the whole time.

Monday I'm in class from 8-9:15 then a bit of a break, then I go from 12:30-3:15
Tuesday and Thursday I have a single class from 9:30-10:45
Wednesday it's 8-9:15 then a break, then from 12:30-7:00
Friday I've got off.

16 Credits in five classes.
No labs either, which is really odd, considering I'm a science major.

History and Secondary Education. 140 credits total or 20 more credits than the average major.
ouch. i like history lol- i'm lucky aside from my physics major it's not that difficult to add the extra 3 classes or so for the astronomy minor, and i already tested out of most of the spanish classes, so i'm only a few away from that too

I study medicine, everything's already set up for us so we didn't get to pick times and arrange subjects. As a results I had 8-9am starts everyday, usually with 30 contact hours a week in first and second year.

I feel like I will enjoy having little pressure in the mornings to get to class, as well as the short wednesday and no classes on friday

I'm in a University (Does that count? There are no Colleges in Mexico) And I go to school around 8 hours every day, then I have 2 more hours of languages, also Monday through Friday. So I do around 50 hours a week, awesome shit, aye?
