This was a coup by europe nothing less. Having overthrown a far more corrupt monarchy set in place by the british and put oil into infrastructure, free education, housing and healthcare and not sell oil back to the UK at a pittance and keep the profits themselves. What do you do with rebels? You put them down. Look at what Thatcher did to the miners in the strikes, she set the military in civilian clothings on the protesters from behind. First NATO killed his family in air strikes on tents and undefended houses, then they planted a missile on his son (who spent most of his time at the economics university in london) and then asked him to surrender which was more or less the rest of the world going "U MAD BRO? COME AT ME". Feh. Makes me sick, anybody listening to the media on this without actually finding out information on their own also makes me sick. The escapist, makes me sick.

No need to be harsh to him. People know certain things and hopefully he'll research some more information up. I.e How there was a plan to assassinate gaddafi in 1969 between the libyan royal family and the British special air force, it was called of because America wanted gadaffi to remain in power as he was an anti communist. There's more details but read them yourselves.

Can we not of course forget that the British sold Gadaffi his weapons for many years AND he without a great deal of hesitation dismantled his nuclear weapons. And THEN he there is suddenly a campagn of slander and murder again him and his family? It stinks to high heaven and no one sees beyond what the right wing, corporate owned media tell them

Surely you would admit the man still deserved to die though. Maybe the powers that be had him killed for less honorable motives than helping the opressed people but cant we be happy that a tyrant has died anyway?
