but you can tell a cop you're high, and he won't do anything about it, they can only arrest for possession.

I don't care if they talk about illegal drugs, I just hate drug jokes, period.

It's the lowest form of comedy and requires no talent whatsoever. I'd rather have a pie-in-the-face gag then another "look, I'm pretending to high; ain't I funny" sketch. I'm looking at you, Family Guy.

Since they are claiming to do drugs doing an entertainment show, they can always claim it was part of the show. That's how they get away.
Bill Hicks was incredible vocal about his drug habits. Cocaine, mushrooms, pot, LSD, the works.

OT: It has always struck me as odd that people can talk about doing drugs on TV. Surely that counts as a confession.

One does not necessarily do drugs when one talks about drugs/ getting high.

I COULD do stand up about going back in time, shooting JFK in the noggin and returning to the present. Nothing would logically point out that I DID assassinate the man.

Its not illegal to take them or be under the influence of them, its only illegal to deal them or possess them, though over here in the UK you can have about 15-20grams before you get arrested. Besides, its funny and they can defend themselves by saying they were only joking.
