Double Dragon Neon really makes me laugh. It's so purposely dumb that it's amazing. Psychonauts is great too.

Sam & Max, TF2, Portal, Monkey Island, and of course, GTA. All are great examples of dark humor.
TF2 is too slapstick to be dark, surely?
I think the darkness really comes from how insane each character is and how they react to the extreme slapstick-y violence around them. Or maybe I'm over-thinking it.

The Bard's Tale is a hilarious game. You have to go on a big epic quest, but the Bard just wants to get paid and laid. Hijinks ensue.

TF2 has this dark humor? How would you explain this if it didn't? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h42d0WHRSck

They'd get boring if we had so many. We'd be bitching about that, instead of FPS games and Nintendo. But I prefer it when a game has comedic elements, rather than tries to be nothing but funny. Saying that, Conker was pretty cool if a little frustrating.

GTA is usually reliably hilarious, normally because the majority of the humor is just "take something that is ridiculous in real life and exaggerate it."

Super Meat Boy and The Binding of Issac were pretty funny, mostly because they were kind of fucked up if you thought about it.

Other than that, games that try to be funny often get on my nerves after a while

Disgaea 4 - Sometimes doesn't hit the mark, sometimes trying too hard, but overall funny, and it's hard not to classify it as a comedy

Resonance of Fate - not a comedy. However there are times where the game brings up a scene plays it up for the laughs, and keeps rolling with it for the following quest. Some of it's typical affair of "large boobs lol!" and "You saw me naked, slap!" however I like the directions they went with to make the jokes theirs, and the follow up quips and character conversations during battle are generally fun.
"You want me on Offense or Defense?"
"Hey, you hear that? Leanne goes both ways, good to know."

Lego - Star Wars - Batman - Lego is gleeful silly fun hijinks. Comedy games. Replaying a few hours of Lego Batman 2 had me laughing a few times. Anyone worried about Lego adding Voices because of Lego Lord of The Rings needs to at least watch a clip from Lego Batman 2 and judge based on that. Stuck ontop of a roof, Batman and Robin are brought down by Superman, Robin's happy, full of admiration for Supes, Batman's frustrated and doesn't like that he was 'rescued' - which brings Robin to ask how else, if not Superman, would they have gotten down.
"Could have jumped" replies Batman
"We would have broken our legs", Robin wearily replies
"Broken them before"

I remember one series that I found really funny was the Tak series of games they were always able to make me laugh when I was younger. In retrospect the humor was pretty juvenile, but it was still pretty clever most of the time, and I was young, so I found it funny.

Also the Mario & Luigi and Paper Mario series has always been able to make me smile. They usually have pretty good visual humor along with witty dialogue which keeps me entertained.

On a more recent note the newest Fire Emblem game gets pretty funny at parts, it's mostly in the DLC chapters and the support conversations, but some of them get really funny, and a lot of the dialogue got me to laugh.

I've been playing a lot of Borderlands 2 recently, and I think that game does an awesome job in terms of comedy. Almost all of the game's attempts at humour make me smile at the very least. Others, such as the one below, made me laugh out loud.

Magicka was great comedy. The comedy was worked into the game mechanics, the dialog, the setting, the flavor text, even the marketing. Even when they had to release a day one patch because the game was completely broken, they included Mea Culpa Robes, which included a broken sword, a patchwork robe, and a staff that releases swarms of bugs. They also added a spell called Crash to Desktop, which instantly kills a random enemy with a Blue Screen of Death.

Psychonauts was also brilliant.

Tales of Vesperia/the series as a whole are pretty funny. Mainly through the skits.

Gotta love them crablettes...

To the Captcha: What the hell is a "ChuckE.Cheese" ?!

Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon's whole setup is going for the "so silly its funny" thing. So that game places comedy/humor very high in its priorities.
It's maybe not the main aspect of the game, but still.

Bulletstorm, I laughed more or less all the way through and not because I thought it was bad.
Same. Also Borderlands 2 seems to be comedy in about the same vein to me. Roughly. Kinda.

Also, Trishka. Has nothing to do with comedy but I feel like every time someone mentions Bulletstorm for any reason I must mention: best female non-protagonist character ever. Writers having difficulty writing female sidekicks should seriously take note of her.

Man I wish they'd make a sequel. I mean, Saranno and presumably evil-robot-Ishi remain. Someone needs to get ta killin!

Also, I though Deathspank was hilarious.
Yeah, I enjoyed playing Deathspank with my wife too! The 3rd game was a little linear, but a cool little series all in all. I hope they bring out a 4th sometime soon.

I have to chime in on Armed & Dangerous. A third-person action game published by LucasArts (isn't it always LucasArts?). It had pretty solid gameplay, but the storyline, characters and weapons were gloriously off-the-wall.
From your post, and the others who have mentioned it too, I have to say this sounds amazing - To eBay I go!
And yeah, I'm a little sad at the death of LucasArts. Even if nothing overly special had come from them in years, they still have a 'special' place in my heart.

I really like all 3 discworld games. I'm a big fan of the books too, and even in my head Rincewind is voiced by Eric Idle.

In my head, everything is voiced by Eric Idle. Even my own thoughts.
