Comfort Food, what's your poison?

My favorite comfort foods include instant chinese noodles, sub sandwiches, and biscuits with tea.

Spicy food is heaven for me.

I find it amusing that so many people choose sweets. I don't like sweets (including cakes) and only eat candies in moderation.

Chinese food, specifically chicken fried rice or sweet & sour chicken balls

Yeah that's about it. Only problem is I have a low metabolism so if I choose to pig out I fucking regret it cos suddenly I'm about 10 lbs heavier and dammit, it won't go away!

I like me some mashed taters. I ate like a whole pot of them once when I was really sad. I'm pretty much an emotional eater. Good thing I have high metabolism

I don't know the English translation for it (if there is any, searched for it) but in Holland we call it 'spekkoek'. It's an Indonesian kind of cake with different layers and spices. Just instant happyness for me when I eat it.

It isn't. It's a sort of cake made out of thin layers of stuff but it isn't as moist as tiramisu.

Cheese on a Stick from the Hot Dog on a Stick chain. Basically a mass of some variety of American cheese on a stick and then batter dipped and deep fried just like a corn dog. They also make a Jalapeno Jack variation of it.

Plain old vanilla ice-cream, whipped up into a thick paste so I can lick it out of the bowl.

I have to admit, I'm not a fan of burgers or grilled cheeses, but that does look tasty...

Pretty much anything with Bacon on it. Wife makes these great shrimp wrapped things. Grilled shrimp, bacon,cream cheese stuffed in a jalapeno the bacon wraps it altogether...pretty damn good.

Jaffa Cakes. I've decided that any food-related thread I post in deserves to have Jaffa Cakes bestowed on it.

Those things with the orange flavour and the sponge cake. Now I am hungry...

I am a sucker for those and mint chocolate, as well as my corner café's slap-chips. Those are so good.
