The inbetweeners movie looks super-cringeworthy, even by the show's standards. Most of the series' charm came from how the main cast interacted with the side characters, and all of them seem to be absent for the film. Hell, Simon finally gets with Carly (properly) and it looks like it'll be over 5 minutes in.
I'll probably still end up seeing it though...

Akira, strange enough, it's self-deception I know, but somehow the voice in my head saying 'It could turn out okay' sounds louder than the one saying 'This is going to make something inside you die'
(no I don't think Akira is some profound intellectual work of art, I just love the sense of movement and weight of the animations (No, not interested in the comics) especially the scene downtown where the helicopter ricochets across the intersection)
