While I was never fond of Generals. It wasn't bad.
I wonder what will happen with this if it is/will be released.

As long as it won't revive it like they revived Red Alert with Red Alert 3...UGH

I'm alright with another Generals game the first one wasn't that bad a little plain at times but did have some awesome mods (Contra Shockwave)

Well, I loved Generals and Zero Hour, brilllliant games for LAN parties, and I hope they don't screw the pooch. Please, please can we have LAN back, I hate the new 'net-only' systems, and as for style, I hope they don't try and flood my beloved cartoony, fun-loving RTS licence with heaped on 'realism'. I know I'm not the only one who loved the over-the-top patriotism of the US team and the slightly comical terrorists in the GLA.

I remember that screenshot to the right as the one Bioware were teasing for their upcoming game.

So Bioware are making rts now? That's... unexpected. I'm not sure how to feel!

Just when you thought they couldn't run this franchise into the ground any further.

I know some people like Generals, but... well, look at EA's track record with C&C for a moment, would you? They've gone downhill since RA2 (and some people would argue since TS), what makes you think for a second this new title won't follow that trend?

A long as its better than C&C 4, i'll be happy.

It is quite literally impossible to make a worse C&C game.

If it weren't for that pile of excrement I might actually be looking forward to this - C&C3 and Generals were both my favourites from the franchise.

RA3 wasn't THAT bad, it wasn't stunning by any means but it was still the fun mp carried through from past games.By any stretch it was better than cnc4.

Anyone who gets too upset about changing the word "yuri" for "empire of the sun" has too much spare time.

Anyway, yeah i would get a new generals, i played the last one to death due to a very good mod. (shockwave, loved it to bits)

I just didn't like RA3 that much. Storywise, it's slightly better than RA2 as that didn't make sense at all. But I don't know. I really put my off. And yes, I will agree. C&C4 was storywise worse but gameplay was just different than other C&C games. In that term, gameplay wasn't even that bad imo

I don't care about Yuri much. I liked the twist in RA2 but thats pretty much it. Good riddance that he's gone! lol
