Should I get it? I've only got $6.50 in my Steam wallet and it costs $5. Should I save my money for something else or get it? I am a fan of RTS but I'm not so good at them.
Also can it run on Window 7 64 bit?

Steam has amazing offers, so yes. I am also contemplating whether to buy this or not.

I've decided not to as I have a hunch that when Torchlight releases on XBLA it'll go on sale, so I'll save the $5 for that.\, if it does indeed happen.

Even for $5, RA3 might not be worth it, especially if you were a fan of the first two.

It was a big let-down.

Never played the first 2. Only RTSs I've played is Starcraft 1/2 and Halo Wars.

It'll run no problem. The only problems I've had with mine were disc related, which is why I got it again just now on Steam. Just don't get interested in C&C Generals or BFME2 because they don't even go past the splash screens :[ *sniff*.

Out of those, I'd only suggest C&C 3 and kane's wrath. RA3 was just super boring. I have not played Tiberium Twilight, and I will never. 'Nuff said.

Well, I can't really recommend it one way or another, since I stopped buying all non-Westwood CnC games after Tiberium Wars. I've heard Red Alert 3 is fun for newcomers, but fans familiar with the series were bitterly disappointed. I guess RA3 royally screws the pooch in the story department, discarding the plot of the first two games and starting over for no good reason.

Depends. I found the gameplay to be decent, not great, but the soundtrack is excellent. If you want to see Tim Curry with the fakest Russian accent ever I'd suggest going for it. Also, goddamn there are a lot of low-cut shirts on attractive women.

I personally cried about how bad Red Alert 3 was. I guess this will be my first steam sale this year I wont buy.

Seriously, I found RA3 to be terrible. Although C&C 4 and 3 are good and they are also on sale! Yay!

Bottom line. I wouldn`t buy RA3. Even for 5£.

That's one of the factors that drove me away from purchasing the game, actually. In previous Red Alert titles Tanya was the only "fanservice" character. It seemed like they went overboard in RA3, having every female serve as little more than eye candy.

Also, they changed Tanya from a brunette to a blonde for no reason. I personally don't really care what a woman's hair color is, but you could try to at least stay consistent, EA!

I personally would pass. The first RA game was pretty good, but every installment after that has just been... too whacky for me. There's a difference between a game being something silly and fun, and then having something be so completely bizarre that you just sit there puzzled. That's how I felt about the later RA series installments.

Yes, it can run on Win7 x64.

Uh... you have $6.50... isn't it $7.49?

If you've played the classic Command & Conquer games, don't bother. Red Alert 3's different, shallow, annoyingly "wacky", and has retarded shit that will piss you off.

If you haven't played them before, then give it a try, because it probably won't grate on your nerves as much, or at all.

I'd consider C&C3: Kane's Wrath to be the better game though, out of the two. Or three. Because Kane's Wrath is an expansion. But you can't buy both Tiberium Wars and the Kane's Wrath expansion, because that's double the price. But... $12.50 combined. I dunno lol.

You'd think his Russian accent would've gotten better after Congo, but no:

Though to be honest I think he's somewhat doing it on purpose, you can kind of see him trying not to laugh. Literally one of the best parts of the game is seeing Tim Curry ham it up.
