One way to explain why she got more tips is that certain people were being nicer to her so she subconsciously became more friendly.

Huh, no kidding? You got a link to a study or anything? I'd love to read it if you do.
This [http://thelastpsychiatrist.com/2010/06/are_certain_behaviors--_and_jo.html] came to mind.

It's not just "virgins", as in those who haven't seen many human females in their life, but also those who have failed at relationships. A few people have said straight out that they're still single because people (in this case women) are heavier these days.

If someone claims to be unaffected by what they see, they most certainly are not. When I first saw Batman in Arkham Asylum I thought they'd gone a big too far with inflating his suit. Then I saw a real man dressed as Batman and thought "Oh my god, look how scrawny he is!" If I see a photo of a real woman and switch to the retouched version, it looks fake. If I see the retouched version first, the real woman looks almost like a monster.

I just went through Google Scholar looking for frequently cited studies. I don't have any that specifically come to mind.

Can we not all just agree that these are fictional comic book characters created by an artist and are not beholden to any real life standards at all. The spiderwoman pose and how hard it was makes no sense as she is spiderwoman.(not sure how she was created but i assume it is similar to spiderman) I used to have a poster from the spiderman movie where the fingers where bent in a ridiculous way but i didnt try and replicate the photo as im aware it is a fictitious pose used to show off the agility and flexibility he has.

I think a very big part of male psychology is territoriality. Ownership is huge to us.

I think you might be projecting there a little bit. Wait to attempt to speak on half the populations behalf.

Okay. Thank you for telling me what you think I am doing. If I may be so bold as to tell you what I think I am doing, I think I am generalizing based on personal experiences and my admittedly not exhaustive understanding of psychology, and that I am not bothering to describe it as a generalization because I wanted to have faith in the audience to piece together that a statement made about three-point-let's-round-up-to-four billion people will obviously not encompass every single member of that group. I will continue to hold that faith because I am exhausted by the effort it takes to keep putting disclaimers on sweeping statements to preempt what I suspect are bad faith attempts at gotchas.
