No, he's surprised at Braid being the alternative. And I share his confusion. Braid and Dragon Age have very different forms of gameplay. VERY DIFFERENT.Glefistus said:Have you ever played Dragon Age? The game in which you can drive a Mace through someone's jaw? You're honestly surprised it made the list?Baby Tea said:The Dragon Age - Braid combo was the only confusing bit on there.
Emphasis on story, I guess?
But otherwise, what a smart list! A good idea, implemented well!
I hope a few parents actually take heed of this! It's a great idea.
Hey, if Frederick Whertham, the Jack Thompson of Comicbooks, said it, it must have some basis in fact, right?Carlston said:I notice these two next to each other, GTA IV: The Ballad of Gay Tony (Batman: Arkham Asylum)
And above was MW2/Bad compnay.
Ok BC and MW2 are the same kinda game... Batman and GTA are not...
Did they just call Batman gay?
I don't know if that's true, we better take them into the labs for testingrokkolpo said:what are you saying...?Zomni42 said:Um.. L4D2 and Overlord 2? Uh.... no... Just um... no.

What did you expect? He walks around in a mask with his underpants over his trousers and beats up other sweaty muscular men, you know.Carlston said:Did they just call Batman gay?
It's not the violence alone, it's the sentiment behind it. As far as I know (I haven't completed it yet, admittedly) any violence acts in Borderlands are commited for a good cause. I know there's the vault, but it seems like the characters do go out of their way to do good most of the time, whereas the violence evil Cole commits is entirely for self gratification, and on a wider scale.jboking said:There was one that I was wondering about. Surely, Demons Souls would give children nightmares...but replacing that with Uncharted 2. It's not scary, but it definitely doesn't seem like it's suitable for a younger audience.
"This, kids, is what we call sexual tension."
Yeah, but the violence in Infamous is incredibly cartoony. Even though Borderlands has a cartoony look, the type of violence they use makes more sense than shooting electricity out of your hands.
As for the L4D2 - Overlord 2. yeah, I don't see the connection there.
