Committee. I think that thats the correct spelling, but no spelling of it looks right so without spell check I have no idea how its spelt.

I got picked up for a "rediculous" once. Many laughs ensued, now I just remember that it's like Riddick.

It is uncommon for me to misspell a word, as once the correct spelling is known to me, it is secured in my vocabulary.
However, one that I commonly see butchered on this site is "Definitely", with people using "Definately" or sometimes even "Defiantly". The last one being a word with a completely different meaning >.>

This. This actually gives me problems with engish occasionally, since words like "recognise" have different spellings.

Deodorant. I can never figure out which vowels to use. I also cannot spell misspell. Actually, most words with two of the same letter, like embarrassing, committee and harass, I find really difficult to spell. I can never remember how many of each letter they have.

Definitely? Wasn't it Definantly?

I confuse myself in spelling quiet or quit or quoi.. whatever, quiet.
I hardly know if it's 'we' or 'whe', 'wat' or 'what', 'wich' or 'which'. (damn silent sounds in English)
Oh that, too. Capitols (Capitals? DANG!) in names or sertain words.

:( Now I keep flabbing up my spelling because I am contious about it.

There are some words I frequently get wrong on the first try, but looking at them I know they're wrong and go back and fix them.

My internet posting has probably improved fivefold since spellchecking became a common feature in web browsers. The problem is I post a lot about video games, and the spellcheck doesn't recognise words like multiplayer. I feel a bit guilty about leaving wavy red lines when I hit submit.

Also, I'm Australian and the software is American, so it doesn't recognise recognise, either. I refuse to put a z in there!
