LittleBigPlanet 2. Nothing but a bunch of ninnies going around spamming everyone else with requests for P4P (or L4L if they're incredibly stupid and realize you aren't trading levels like L4L would suggest), making countless zombie and basketball levels, republishing their LBP1 "get some trophies" levels that they didn't even make themselves but were copies of some other guy's level, and rating all your levels down without even playing them (you can load a level, hit start, give it a boo, and exit back to your pod without moving from the level's entrance) if you give any of their levels a boo.

I was working on a new level since you have to be active in create mode for 24 hours to get one of the trophies anyway, but I immediately stopped when that trophy popped (it was my last one) and put the game away on my shelf because I don't want to look at it or it's incredibly awful community anymore. I'll try it again later once all the little kids and trophy whores have either finished or given up, and people with actual skill have had time to make some levels worth playing.

Camping noobs using ghost pro in cod. Also noobtubers. Srsly infinity ward/trayarch stop adding this shit to your games and add something useful like being able to set different killstreaks for different maps

It hasn't done it yet but the community of League of Legends is dangerously close to ruining the game for me. Everyone I've managed to get paired with lately is just so damn stupid. It's like there's not even a point of playing without my friends anymore because any given random game will just lead to someone calling someone else a ******.

I can never enjoy a Sonic the Hedgehog game because of the sheer number of morons that make up the fanbase.

Beyond that, I don't play games online, so thankfully, no other games can be ruined by the morons on Xbox live.

Halo and Xbox Live in general, hell I grew up with the franchise but after about three months of playing online in Halo 2, I started playing without a mic and muted everybody who had one, the only time I ever had on was when I played with friends, and I STILL play without a mic today...

Minecraft is begining to get like this, because there are two kinds of servers.
1. A nice server with a decent OP, but is ran from a laptop for two hours a day
2. An insanely powerful dedicated server with a player base of 200, but harsh, sometimes even abusive OP control freaks, a so called "Economy" that consists entirely of fixed prices, and a community that just turns the game into "Like single player, but other massive structures pop up randomly"

I am thinking of starting a server for just me and my RL friends, which would end up falling into the first category, but with 8GB RAM and Quad Core instead of a barely functional laptop.

Killzone.

I played it four or five different times on different days and every game I joined my teammates would just shoot me in the back as I tried to fight of enemies, earning me a death, and them a kill as I normally managed to weaken the other guy. It got me so pissed, I swore off the PSN forever.

World of Warcraft. The community became so bloated and self centered that they had to create a server to keep the elitist assholes on so they wouldn't ruin it for anyone else.

It is also holding the MMO genre back from growing, because everyone will compare it to WOW. No matter how good a game is, it is always going to be compared in a negative light to a game which mechanics are about as outdated as the phonograph.

Quite true. WoW is the reason why I will avoid RIFT. Because I know the exact same playerbase will exist there, and I dont need another lesson on the dregs of the internet.

Valve and Halo, I usually don't admit this, but I actually do like Halo, it's just the community gets so annoying that I almost prefer to be in denial than admit that I'm a fan.

Jesus Christ does Left 4 Dead have the most snobbish jaded community EVER in a video game.
Again, very true. Valve players are the people who really take the "video game achievements =/= real life achievements" thing too far. You could be a surgeon making 200k a year, but if you happen to get pounced by a hunter who got you from behind while you were shooting at a tank, youre a know-nothing waste of skin that would have been better off as a blowjob, and youll get booted from the team.

L4D's community, particularly on the Steam forums. Oddly enough, I've run into more griefers on the PC than on the 360.

I've only ever had one bad Halo game, but I tend to play team co-op maps (Firefight, Grifball, Invasion) more than the hardcore competitive maps.

none for me because for some damned reason i cant talk with anyone that is not my friend.
But this is a good reason why they should restrict the sale of microphones to kids and in order for you to use a mic you have to put in the code to activate the ability to use it to talk to other people that arent on there friends list. and in stores they have to ask everyone buying a mic if there getting it for there kids and asking if there under 14 if they are then they dont give them the code.
