[Rambling Gentleman]

Hello all,

I don't know how many of you knew this was going on but 4 community members (NeoAC, Crazzee, Jack and Calumon and myself) have just sat down and recorded the first of what will hopefully be many community podcasts.

This thread is being thrown out because rather than just talk about what we're interested in, we want to hear about things interesting the whole community, so please feel free to post and discuss here what everyone would like 4 typical Escapist members to talk about as well as anything you think we should do.

this is gonna be sweet! ill subscribe. just get that thing up on itunes. its a great time to do a first show. do an e3 wrapup. like, what did you like, what didnt you like, that kind of stuff. what did you see that blew your mind (kid icarus) and what did you see that had you throwing up (ubisoft). that kind of stuff.

That is the premise of the first episode. We each talked about a couple games that caught our eye, and commented on some features on it. Should be out Monday hopefully.

As it says in the podcast guys this is a community Podcast, so we really want to focus on stuff going on in the community.

Okay kiddies. Let's gather around the analogy tree shall we?

Let's say Calumon is an insufferably cute kitten that likes to meow almost constantly. For the first little while, anything it does so head-burstingly cute.

Then a month rolls by, and now Calumon is a little louder and hangs around a lot more often, still meowing as often, maybe even more. By then the meowing is bearably grating and is something you can deal with, but would be comfortable without.

Soon it reaches the six month mark since you have brought Calumon into your home. The meowing has reached a peak that seems to have no height limit and now you want nothing more than to throw the little guy through the window every time you hear him meow.

The lesson here is: no one thing is cute forever.
