NOTE: THIS SURVEY HAS BEEN COMPLETED, I NO LONGER NEED HELP!
AND THANK YOU ALL FOR FILLING THE SURVEY!

Greetings, humans. I am making a survey of caffeine's effects on tiredness. If you could find it in yourself to take a moment to answer the following questions, it would be greatly appreciated. I will post the results (statistics) in this thread when I'm ready.

1. On average how many litres per week do you drink energy drinks?
2. On average how many litres per week do you drink coffee? (One cup ~ 0.2 litres)
3. On average how many litres per week do you drink tea and soda?
4. On average how many hours per week do you sleep?
5. On average how tired do you feel on a scale from 1 to 10. (Brisk -> Tired)
6. (If you answered over 5 on last question) What do you think is the reason for your tiredness?

And here is how to answer:
1. 0.5 litres
2. 2 litres
3. 5 litres
4. 52 hours
5. 8
6. I think I am this tired, because I am currently suffering from depression because I just lost everything in a divorce, I got fired from my job and the last thing I had left, my family heirloom turtle, died.

Thank you for you co-operation!
Here, have some pineapple!

Results
--Statistics:
71 people filled this survey
The average amount of energy drinks per week was 2.8dl (1dl = 0.1l)
The average amount of coffee per week was 13.8dl (1dl = 0.1l)
The average amount of tea and soda per week was 33dl (1dl = 0.1l)
The average amount of sleep per week was 49.4
The average tiredness level was 5.2

--Conclusions:
Tiredness is affected by so many factors, that higher consumption of cafeine is rarely the (only) reason behind it. People who consumed more cafeine were not more or less tired than those who had less cafeine. Here is a chart with dots in it:

What I found interesting, however, was that the people who sleep less were not generally any more tired than those who sleep more. I'd guess the reason behind this is that people are different: some people just make do with less sleep than others. Here are some more dots in a chart:

Thank you again for helping with the survey.

LOLZ!

1) 4 LTR

2) (going off your scale) 0.4

3) 0.4

4) 56

5) 3 (it is early in the day though)

6) at the moment I am working off a few sleepless nights due to gaming so I am just getting my sleep pattern back.

Usually on this kind of caffine in take I go to bed at 12 and wake up at 8. Unless I do an all nighter or two (which throws me off), I always get 8 hours sleep.

If I do get thrown off I do the opposite of what you would think would happen, I end up sleeping 3 hours night and being insanely tired during the day.

(I thought I would answer number 6 for the lolz)

4. 56
5. 4
6. not tired now, usually when I am its because a) it after 11pm, b)its before 10am c) (most common) I've not been wearing my glasses .

Also, how come tea and soda are combined? Tea is caffeinated and soda isn't. I'd have thought that would make a difference

1. 0.1 maybe? I only drink energy drinks occasionally, so it's hard to nail down an average weekly consumption.
2. 0.7-1 litre(s), I'd say. Varies a lot.
3. Tea: ca. 0.6 litres. Soda: ca. 1 litre.
4. Something like 50-55 hours.
5. 5, maybe? It's hard to evaluate something like that, and it varies wildly.

Shouldn't there be a poll for at least one of these questions? It'd make it easier than counting them yourself.

1. 0 litres (I don't normally consume energy drinks. last week I had close to 4-5 litres in about a couple of days, though.)
2. 0 litres (again, the same as above. But I didn't drink 4 litres of coffee last week. I had run out of it, though, and energy drinks were on promotion at the store, plus faster to make and consume - open, drink)
3. 2 litres
4. 56 hours (har-har, currently my sleep schedule is so messed up that lately it's closer to 40)
5. 3-ish, maybe 2 but closer to 3.
