I think that controlling how you sleep is a great ability. Crashing for 2-3 good hours can make wonders and leave you to make up for the sleep loss a few hours later.

1) About 1.5L on a college week, none on a non-college week. Bear in mind it's Monster I drink, so yeah. Lots of caffeine in that.
2) 0L
3) About 4.5L. Soda.
4) 46 hours on a college week, 54ish on a non-college week.
5) Right now, about 3.5. But I didn't have college at 9am today.

1-3: I don't get caffeine from those sources but I do get a completely guessed average of 700mg of caffeine from pills per week.
4: About 35-42 but sleep is about quality not quantity and I get low quality sleep.
5: 8-9 Most of the time
6: Having insomnia, not getting much sleep, what little sleep I do get is low quality because I almost never get to the important post REM cycle due to waking up for various reasons. My body is used to never getting much sleep so if I do somehow get a period of good sleep, after a while I just stop being able to get to sleep.

Wait, don't you work for Gearbox? I thought everyone that worked in video game development ran on pure caffeine?
Everybody but me, I think. I just hate coffee and energy drinks D: The guy who sits by me has a stack of 12+ empty Monster cans on his desk at any given time.
Ah well, as long as the stereotype is correct. How's Borderlands 2 coming along btw, will there be good looking environments? I hear you discovered green! (Quote from Matt Charles)

It's coming along great, especially after the new style switch where all we have to do is flood fill all the textures solid green! Works out great!

But yeah, I'm super excited about it. I may be biased, but it looks sweet, lol.

6. I think it's more fatigue from stress than fatigue from being tired. Been trying to juggle a full-time job that bores me to tears and doesn't use my education whatsoever (but pays better and has better benefits than any of my current alternatives), helping a sister cope with an incredibly messy divorce on a more-or-less daily basis since October of last year, trying to care for a parent that suffered a stroke a year ago (I'm the only one in my immediate family whose schedule permits acting as a stay-at-home nurse and chauffeur), and to top it off I get the responsibility of deciding tomorrow whether or not the family's cat should be put to sleep (she's 16 years old, she's been very sick for over a month now, and medicine doesn't seem to be helping at all as her condition worsens). So... yeah. Just going through kind of a shitty point in my life, and I don't think how tired I feel all the time now has anything to do with my sleeping patterns, since those patterns have been pretty consistent for my whole adult life.

6. Lack of good time management has me working late often and getting up early for school. During the school week, I have four to six hours generally each night and end up spending my weekends asleep.

Hope this helps!

1. 0.7 litres.
2. 1 litre
3. 5 litres
4. 58 hours
5. 7
6. I'm so tired because I drink a fuck tonne of cola and don't go to sleep as early as I should do so I'm on an almost constant stream of caffeine buzzes and crashes. I don't drink cola or coffee to wake myself up though, I drink them for the taste. Coffee occasionally has the secondary purpose of giving me an extra jolt though.

1. On average how many litres per week do you drink energy drinks? - 0
2. On average how many litres per week do you drink coffee? (One cup ~ 0.2 litres) - 0
3. On average how many litres per week do you drink tea and soda? - About 4 or so I think (probably a bit more than that) (keep in mind, I don't drink tea and recently I've switched to caffeine free Coke)
4. On average how many hours per week do you sleep? - Maybe 56 or so, I'm not sure (usually feels like I don't sleep enough)
5. On average how tired do you feel on a scale from 1 to 10. (Brisk -> Tired) I'd probably say 6 or 7.
6. (If you answered over 5 on last question) What do you think is the reason for your tiredness? - That I'm not sure. For the past few years I've had problems with sleep. Back then, it was probably due to having to wake up very early for school, stress/anxiety, and nightmares. Now, it seems to be solely due to stress/anxiety, and nightmares, both of which have gotten worse since my mother threw me out and had me institutionalized for 2 1/2 weeks for something that never happened.

6. I'm a night person, always have been. Tends to mean I go bed at 4-5am and then get up 10-11am, then when I'm not working I'll sleep 11 hours or so. Weird set up, but it works for me.

Incidentally, I work in a Starbucks, and I am now pretty much immune to the effects of caffine. Most of my energy I get from sugar. If you want any coffee based info I can talk to people at work if you want.

Thank you all for filling the survey, I have now all the numbers I need. I updated the first post to show the results.
