With all the discussions happening here on the escapist I though I would start one on... nothing. Basically what i am asking is add what you are thinking right now, how you are feeling, whats important in your life, who is important, your troubles your hopes and anything else that you can think of, non of the above or all on any subject from games to work to life, be it help needed or just something you want to share good or bad or to just complain.
The main part is I would like people to comment on everyone else's random thoughts and wants and see where the thread goes.
and for those who are reading this down the line and it has gone in one direction (if anyone adds that is) please randomly add in your own subject even if it is heavy on a single subject. Call it a randomers meeting randomly...meeting.

A thought a while ago while watching the rain come down outside about how much of a stupid sentiment is in Adels song "I Set Fire To The Rain" is. If she were to set fire to the rain, then she would cause untold amounts of death and destruction simply to get revenge on some bloke that has done her wrong (I think thats what the songs about listening to the lyrics). Surely it would be safer for everyone to just kick him in the nuts and go on to wreck his life in other ways.

Right when I saw that post, for some reason I thought of the beginning scene in gladiator, where their firebombing the germanic tribes with the catapults. I have no idea why. Also the battle of Helms Deep in Lord of The Rings

Recently my mind has been stuck on something that occurred to me about Avatar the Last Airbender. In the series, Roku described the Avatar State as a means to gain access to the experience of all the past Avatars or something along those lines. This made me think about the very first Avatar, would he have been able to use the Avatar State? If he was able to would it be very weak due to there being no other Avatars to draw power from? Perhaps even without being able to access the experience of past Avatars it would still have increased his power a great deal anyway?

Well that's what i've been thinking about anyway, I have no idea how my mind got onto that subject.

I'm watching a crappy 80's movie on livestream, and currently this is more important than going to sleep & working towards my degree. I guess ultimately I wouldn't mind programming, it's pretty cool. And evolution is really weird in terms of proteins; I bet if I had a few billion years I could do a better job.

Also I give it <30 posts until this thread gets locked.

You, being composed of proteins, could do a better job at compiling proteins than proteins could?
Yo dawg-

Actually pretty good and don't skip the maple syrup. Trust me.

I always wondered who changes the light bulbs in the traffic lights.

Cows. That would be all, but I'd probably get a warning for low content.

So, how's everyone's day going?

EDIT: More random thoughts.
I like this thread.
Who would win in a fight, an iPod, or a Zune. iPod, I'd think, probably an app for that.
That sign is pink.
History class is awesome. Yep.

I always figured it was like the Avatar spirit grew up like a person does. In the first incarnation they were a baby and didn't have any experience or power to draw on, so it could try to walk and talk (or go into the Avatar State) but it wouldn't do much good. In their next they were a toddler and had a (relatively) tiny bit of understanding and a bit more strength so they could crawl and say basic words like 'mama'... and so on.

Well, Earlier I received a Jehovah's Witness religious magazine that was dumped in my mailbox and I began reading it for a lark. I noticed one article that made me chuckle, a two-page feature about how the current generation has strayed away from the types of communication that god intended, and into a more digitally distant medium that includes this forum. It comes with the tagline: "If God intended us to use mobile phones all day long, we would be born with them taped to our heads."

I can't exactly remember where my train of thought went from there, but what I ended up with is a sleepy epiphany that religion is based around the theory that everything (and therefore nothing) is human relative. And that my beliefs are based around the theory that humans and human creations are the only things human relative.

I realized that if this were true, and religion saw the world through the perspective of only human, then the only reason for the depictions of god to look so human was that god is intended to be a human father figure. A discerning creator from which we sprang, who we consequently owe our gratitude and respect. I then thought that if god was that father figure, than he can be judged by someone outside of his family (me) as being a fucking douchebag, much like a son respects his asshole of a dad, while his friends see his dad as a dick. My reason for judging him negatively being his total omnipotence yet failure to solve all of our problems because we haven't earned it yet.

So yeah, god is Kurtwood Smith as Mr.Perry from Dead Poets Society.

EDIT: My day was swell :)

Right now I'm thinking how freaking great Iron Maiden really is while listening to their song Dream of Mirrors and wondering how I'll survive Halloween... we'll see!
