Why can't I get reduced bus-fares as a full-time student? And why are bus fares so expensive anyway? It costs me £4.30 each way if I want to see my grandparents and it's only a half-hour journey.

Do you have a student card? Does your local bus service have student discounts?

Thinking will a blender...blend, while thinking about how will Arsenal stop conceding so many goals while waiting for the 2nd half of a football match on now.
I should be thinking about IT and parenting as I should be writing a paper on it but I'm actually thinking about how i'd love to play some classic crash bandicoot warped or rayman!..feeling nostalgic :)

Also thinking how Van Persie is carrying Arsenal at the minute and how happy I was to see Vermaelen back today!!

Speaking of such fiddling, i have been running the Folding at home program from stanford university for about a year.

http://folding.stanford.edu/

Do important science with two mouse clicks every day.
I run linux and the program just constantly runs at 100% CPU usage, so it's not really an option. But I salute you, the folding problem is ludicrously hard & needs all the help it can get.
But it's supposed to use all the CPU power that isn't being used

Which is the issue...my computer is 8 years old and lives in a very dusty environment, running it at 100% will shorten the CPU's life. Besides, the processor in this box is fairly poor, doubt it would make much of a difference.

The main reason humanity evolved to be "intelligent" is due to incorrect beliefs.
