I would have seen him in a heartbeat
True story, our maths teacher set us an hour long test so she could attempt to get tickets on our slow-ass school internet when he announced his This Is It tour.

Bruce Springsteen live in Barcelona -snip!-
...well, there goes my answer. I was born to a Springsteen song and one day I'll damned well make it to one of those gigs.

There was a Jethro Tull concert tour back in the 70s that I heard about, but was too young to attend. Let me set the scene for you:

All the lights in the arena go dark. One spotlight comes on. It follows Ian Anderson, who's using his flute as a cane, stooped over and tapping his way across the stage. When he reaches the center, he straightens suddenly and tosses the flute up in the air.

The spotlight follows it, turning end over end, shining in the dark...and the moment it slaps back down into Ian Anderson's palm, all the lights blast on and the opening six notes of "Aqualung" ring out.

I think I would have wet myself from the sheer coolness.

Take That's "Circus" in Wimbledon. That thing looked EPIC. I was watching the DVD with my Dad and was so jealous of the crowd!

And about two to three years ago there was a tribute concert to Hans Zimmer, he of the amazing movie scores (Lion King, Gladiator, Pirates of the Caribbean, etc.). I would've killed to have been there.

I missed an Avenged Sevenfold concert back in '07 or '08, a concert that was in the same tour as their Live in the LBC DVD, so it would have been pretty much the same.

Kind of obvious why I couldn't go, though, since that was before I heard about them/like metal at all.

Clutch, Slayer, Black Label Society, and GWAR. That's pretty much my list of concerts I'd like to be killed at during an epic mosh, by the way, excluding Clutch.

I missed a Gnarls Barkley gig at a rock festival in 2005. I left few hours before it. It still haunts me a bit.
