Bioshock was sorta meh.
I had an unironic blast with Stubbs the zombie: rebel without a pulse and Destroy all humans, even though I generally HATE smug, pseudo-50's settings (coughcoughbioshockandthemilkmanconspiracycoughcough).
I like Lady Gaga and Nickelback, and I can definitely stand techno and eminem.
Same goes for doctor who, which I honestly think sounds like "bland british man + deus ex machina(sonic screwdriver or whatever they're calling it that day)"
I dislike people who say that Star Trek is more 'realistic' than Star Wars (so you replace 'energy crystals' with tachyon-inverters...yeah...realistic.)
I dislike people who can't see things from other people's point of view and especially ones who claim that "WESTERN STUFF IS SUPERIOR FOR ALWAYS AND FOREVER BECAUSE IT'S MORE REALISTIC AND MANLY LOLOLOL!" and conversely, people who can not shut their yaps about Asian stuff because it's "SUPERAWESOMESPECIAL AND SPEAKS TO ME AS A PERSON IT REALLY GETS ME AND IT'S SYMBOLIC AND DEEP MAN!". But mostly the first, as they are often obnoxious about it and act like real hypocrites by saying that fallout/the witcher/star trek is more realistic and manly and thus worth more than anything else. Those are the people that jerk off to conan and claim that "GRAY AND BROWN = REALISM!!!!!". You want a manly manga? Go read berserk, now STFU. Why yes, I've needed to vent for a long time, why do you ask? Yes, I have issues with weeaboos too, but I get some counter-weight to them pretty much every time there's an anime con over here and they prove to be generally sweet, if a bit creepy people.
I despise death metal, black metal, doom metal, grindcore, metalcore, noisecore, what have you.
I quite dislike Hemingway and think he gets waaay too much credit for wayy too shitty work.
I was bored of The Great Gatsby by page 10.
I dislike the contemporary trend of things that are "awesome" are promoted and always have to do with sharks/dinosaurs/rocket launchers/fire/death stars/whatever.
I'm not very fond of poetry.
I hate faux-misantrhopic/nihilistic attitudes and/or people "losing faith in humanity".
I hate a looot of cliches, but recognize that some cliches stem from reality and/or are necessary to construct a good plot.
I loathe movies and tv shows with a few exceptions.
I think Unreal Tournament 2004 was a better multiplayer online shooter than TF2 or MW2..
I quite enjoy the Halo franchise.
I think the metroid games are overrated.
Same for zelda, with the exception of OOT
And castlevania
I unashamedly looove pretty much any mario game to come out except for SMB3 and the sports games
I think Dead Or Alive 4 (and the other games in the series for that matter, disregarding the volleyball games) is a pretty good fighting game.
I was severely disappointed with Blazblue.
I think SSB, SSBM and SSBB are the greatest nintendo games of all time. Of all time! *does best kanye west impression*.
I don't give a flying fuck about celebrities or actors or whatever.
As a writer, I loathe the typical Mary-Sue and think that writing everywhere has too much of them - games, tv shows, movies(jesus christ, do they have mary sues.), books and plays.
I think spiderman is a hundred times cooler than motherfucking batman.
